3834., BEING AN MDIMUICE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN TERRITORY; PROVIDING THAT THIS OkWINAI1dCE
SHr11L BE MIULATIVE OF ALL OTHER ORDINANCES AND SPECI-
EYING AN EFFECTIVE DATE!,.
BE IT ORDAIMED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT 1.ORTH, TEXAS:
Section 1.
That Ordinance No. 3831 , being an ordinance providing for the annexation
of certain territory to the corporate limits of the City of Fort Glorth, is
hereby, in all things, repealed.
Section 2.
That this ordinance shall be cumulative of all other ordinances of the
City of Fort Worth except in those instances where such ordinances are in
conflict herewith, in which instances the terms of this ordinance shall
prevail.
Section 3.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and it is so ordained.

Being a tract of land about 4 miles northwest of the Courthouse of
Tarrant County,, Texas, and lying in the R. Vickery Survey, and being
more fully described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the present City of Fort Worth, City Limit
Line, said point being in the east line of the R. Vickery Survey.,
591 - 4/10 feet from its northeast corner.
THENCE south 52 degrees ® 15 minutes west 330 — 2/10 feet to a point
in the northeasterly line of a 49 acre tract conveyed to Zilla Sansom.
by Deed recorded in Volume 1145, Page 175 of the Deed Records of
Tarrant County, Texas, said point being north 41 degrees ® 29 minutes
west 242 feet from the east corner of said tract.
THENCE south 52 degrees — 15 minutes west 960 — 6/10 feet to a point
in the northeasterly line of Ten Mile Bridge Road, in the present
City of. FortWorth City Limit Line.
THENCE southeasterly, easterly,, northerly., westerly., and northerly
along the present City of Fort Worth City Limit line to the place
of beginning., and containing approximately 30 acres.

BEGINNING at a corner in the present City of Fort Worth City Limit Line at

A PETITION
City Council of Fort Worth

Fort Worth, Texas
Gent?emen:
The undersigned, owner of approximately 10 acres of land out of the Zilla Sansom 49
acre tract in the R. Vickery Survey, more fully described in the plat and field notes
attached prepared by Brookes Baker Surveyors, does hereby petition the City Council
of the City of Fort Worth to annex the aforementioned 10 acres and to make it a part
of the City of Fort 'oTorth, Texas.
The undersigned recently purchased the above described property and intends to erect
thereon truck terminal for the Chemical Express Company, The Chemical Express Com-
pany hauls bulk cement from the Trinity Portland Cement Company plant on the adja-
cent propert, to various points in the state of Texas.
The undersigned desires that the above described property become a part of the City
of Fort Worth in order that the police and fire protection and utilities may be ex-
tended to the property. Estimates for the cost of extending water and sewerage
lines to the property have already been secured from the water and sanitary sewer
departments.
The undersigned is familiar with the general practice relating to the matter of extend-
ing utilities to newly annexed areas and will conform to the city's requirements. Site
work for the construction of the terminal has alreact been completed. Plans for the
new terminal are in the hands of several general contractors and bids will soon be
taken. It is hoped that construction can start in the imediate future.
The undersigned hopes that this petition will be acted upon with speed and dispatch.

situated about 4-1/2 miles northwest from the court souse in
Tarrant County, Texas, and being a part of the 49 acres tract
conveyed to Zilla Sansom by the deed recorded in volume 1145,
page 175 of the Tarrant County Deed Records.
Beginning at an iron for the easterly corner of said
Sansom tract, being, by deed call, north 41 degrees west
54-8/10 vArue from a point in the east line of said A. Vlokery
survey 312 varas from its northeast corner.
Thence along the lines of said Zilla Sansom tract:
south no degrees-21 minutes east 268-5/10 feet to an iron; and
south 49 degrees west 808 feet to the southerlyy corner of said
triket in the middle sof the Fart Worth to Aa1e 2 and also
knc*?n as the Ten Mile Bridge Road and from which an iron in tkas
tortheasterly line of said Road blears north 49 degrees east 25
feet ; and north 41 dog ss>s-22 minutes gest, along the middle
of said Bid, 501-6/10 feet to a point for corner and from which
an iron in the northo"tsrly line of said Road bears north 52
degrees-13 minutes east 25 feet.
Thence north 52 degrees-15 minutes east g85-6/lo feet
to an iron In the aortheasterly line of said Sansom tract.
Thonee south 41 degrees-29 minutes east, along said
tract line, 242 feet to the place of beginning and containing
10 aorem exclusive of the road along the southwest line of the
tract.
