ORDINANCE NO. 9D
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING A PORTION OF THE 5 FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT
LOCATED IN BLOCK 4, VILLAGE CREEK INDUSTRIAL PARK, FROM
THE EAST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF VILLAGE CREEK ROAD SOUTH-
EASTERLY 270 FEET; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID
LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT a portion of the 5 foot wide utility easement located in
Block 4, Village Creek Industrial Park, from the east right-of-way
line of Village Creek Road southeasterly 270 feet, be and the same
is vacated, abandoned, and permanently closed and extinguished as a
public utility easement.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated public
utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent
owner as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or-
dained.

JaGee Corporation, owner of all abutting property, has requested that the City
vacate a portion of the 5' wide utility easement in Block 4, Village Creek
Industrial Park, from Village Creek Road southeasterly 270' to a point, which is
5' from the future east property line of proposed Lot 1, Block 4, Vilage Creek
.2 Industrial Park, as shown on the attached map
The subject utility easement, acquired by dedication, is platted but contains no
utility facilities The subject vacation request is made in order to incorporate
the vacated easement areas with adjacent property, thus expanding the building
area and providing more usable yard space
It is the opinion of the Real Property Department that the interest of the City
in the subject utility easement described in this vacation request has no
monetary value to the City if same is vacated
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no objections
to this request
Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Council adopt an ordinance vacating a portion
of the 5' wide easement in Block 4, Village Creek Industrial Park Addition
