R~= ORDINANCE NO. ~ 9~~` AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING AND EXTINGUISHING THE TEN FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED ALONG THE COMMON LOT LINE OF LOTS 17 AND 18, BLOCK 1.5, RIDGLEA COUNTRY CLUB ESTATES ADDITION; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THAT THE ten foot (10') wide utility easement, the centerline of which lies along the common lot line of Lots 17 and 18, Block 15, Ridglea Country Club Estates Addition and which extends from the south right-of-way line of Tumbling Trail Court southward along said common lot line of Lots 17 and 18 to a point five feet of the north boundary line of Lot 31, Block 15, Ridglea Country Club Estates Addition, all as shown on plat recorded in Volume 388-11, page 42, of the Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same is vacated, abandoned, and permanently closed and extinguished a.s a utility easement. SECTION 2. a That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained. The City of Fort Worth Water Department and reviewing private utility companies have stated by letter that the utility easement contains no utility facilities within their area of responsibility.
