AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOU TARY LIMITS AND AiKsING
CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO TFC, CITY OF FORT
WERTH; PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A.
DAILY NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH
THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 40, CHAPTER ='VIII OF Thi' CITY
CHARTER; AMENDING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
PRESCRIBING A. SAVINGS CLAUSE AND SPECIFYING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT ORDAIV-ED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIS` CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
Section 1.
That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City of Fort
Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and made an inegral
part of the City of Fort Worth, said territory being situated in Tarrant County,
Texas, and being described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEING a tract of land lying approximately ten miles north of the
Courthouse of Tarrant County, Texas, and being more fully described as
follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the present City Limit Line of the City of
Fort Wbrth in the west right-of-way line of County Road No. 4107, at
its intersection with the south right-of-way line of County Road No.
4123;
THENCE north along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort
lbrth, the west right-of-tray line of County "Road No. 4107 to its inter-
section with the north right-of-wy line of County Road No. 4o4o;
THENCE east along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort
North, the north right-of-way line of County Road No. 4040 to its inter-
section with the northeasterly right-of-way line of U. S. Highways 81 and
287;
THENCE southeasterly along the present City Limit Line of the City of
Fort North, the northeasterly right-of-way line of U. S. Highways 81 and
287 to a point 50 feet north of the present City Limit Line of Saginaw;
THEENTCE east along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort
brth, 50 feet north of and parallel to the present northern-most boundary
of Saginan produced east to a point 50 feet east of the northeasterly
right-of-way line of U. S. Highways 81 and 287;
TI]ENCE southeasterly along the present City Limit Line of the City of
Fort Worth, 50 feet east of and parallel to the northeasterly right-of-way
line of U. S. Highways 81 and 287 and the present City Limit Line of
Saginaw to a point 50 feet north of the north line of the J. H. Biles
Survey;
THENCE east and south along the present City Limit Line of the City
of Fort North, 50 feet north and east of and parallel to the north and
east lines of the J. H. Biles Survey, the present City Limit Lineof
Saginaw, to a point 50 feet north of the north right-of-way line of County
Road No. 020;
THENCE east along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort
Porth, 50 feet north of and parallel to the north right-of-way line of
County Road No. 4020 and of the present City Limit Line of Saginaw, and
Blue Mound, to a point 50 feet east of the most northerly east present
City Limit Line of Blue I,Zound produced north;
THENCE south along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth,
50 feet east of and parallel to the most northerly east present City Limit

cf-way line of County Road No. 4020;
THENCE east along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth,
the north right-of-way line of County Road No. 4020 and east and north along
the north and west right-of-way line of County Road No. 4048 to its intersec-
tion with the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 4106;
THENCE west along the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 4106,
to its intersection with the east right-of-way line of County Road No. 4105;
THENCE south, west, and south along the east, south, and east right-of-
way line of County Road No. 4105, to its intersection with the south right-
of-way line of County Road No. 4005;
THENCE west along the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 4005,
to its intersection with the east line of the J. Highland Survey produced
south;
THENCE north along the east line of the J. Highland Survey produced
south and the east line of the J. Highland Survey, to the northeast corner
of the J. Highland Survey;
THENCE west along the north lines of the J. Highland, M E P & P R.R.
Co. , and G. A. Criner Surveys, to the intersection with the northeasterly,
right-of-way line of U. S. Highways 81 and 287;
THENCE southeasterly along the northeasterly right-of-way line of U. S.
Highways 81 and 287, to its intersection with the north line of the I & G 111
R.R. Co. Sul-Vey;
THENCE west along the north lines of the 1 & G N R.R. Co. , J. P. Smith,
and Benjamin Thomas Surveys,, to the southwest corner of the G. A. Criner
Survey;
THENCE south and west along the lire s of the 1,1L E P & P R.R. Co. Survey,
to the northeast corner of the T & P R.R. Co. Survey;
THENCE south and southwest along the lines of the T & P R.R. Co.
Survey, to the northeast corner of the T. Hicks Survey;
THENCE south along the east line of the T. Hicks Survey and south,
east, south, west, and south along the west line of the Benjamin Thomas
Survey, to its intersection with the east right-of-way line of State Farm-
to-Market Road No. 1220;
THENCE southerly along the east right-of-way line of State Farm-to-
Market Road No. 1220, to its intersection with the south right-of-way line
of County Road No. 4123;
THENCE east along the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 4123,
to the place of beginning and containing approximately 29.26 square miles.
Section 2.
That this ordinance shall and does hereby amend every prior ordinance in conflict
herewith, and more particularly this ordinance expressly amends Ordinance Kos- 3867
and 4295; heretofore adopted and passed on July 15, 1963, but as to all other ordi-
nances or sections of ordinances not in direct conflict herewith, this ordinance
shall be and is hereby made cumulative.
Section 3.
That this ordinance shall be published-one time in a daily newspaper published
in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter
XKVIII of the City Charter.
Section 4.
If any section, subsection, clause, sentence, phrase, or word of this ordinance
is for any reason held void or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction,
such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining sections., subsections,
clauses, sentences, phrases or words, except as the same are inseparable from and
indispensable to the remaining portions 'of the ordinance.
. Section 5.
That this ordinance shall become .effective and be in full force and effect upon
its final passage, which in no event. shall be less than thirty (30) days from the
date of .its publications, 'as aforesaid, and it is t;o ordained.
