HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 45003-R3 CITY SE 'W4b-03-- CEIVE :CONTRACT M 2g 2016 AMENDMENT AND RENEWAL NO. 3 TO GI�Y SECTr�"'' CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 45003 PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT This Amendment and Renewal is entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth (hereafter "City"), a home rule municipal corporation situated in portions of Tarrant, Denton and Wise Counties, Texas, with its principal place of business at 1000 Throckmorton Street, Fort Worth, Texas, and Alan Plummer Associates, Inc. (hereafter "Consultant"), a Texas corporation acting by and through Ellen T. McDonald, its duly authorized Principal. WHEREAS, the parties have previously entered into City of Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 45003 (the "Contract") to perform consulting services for water conservation for the Water Department, which was executed on October 16, 2013 and provided four (4) one (1) year renewal options; and WHEREAS, the original term of the Contract expired on August 31, 2014 and the parties exercised the first renewal and second renewal options extending the Contract until August 31. 2016; and WHEREAS, the City and Alan Plummer Associates, Inc. now wish to amend the Contract to provide for the assistance with the City's Water Conservation initiatives relating to Industrial, Commercial and Institutional customers exercise the third renewal option to extend the term of the Contract through August 31, 2017. NOW, THEREFORE, City and Consultant, acting herein by the through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement to amend the contract: 1. Section 1, Scope of Work. The scope of work under the Contract shall be amended to include the tasks identified in Exhibit A-2. Section 2, Term. The term of the Contract is hereby amended to extend the term to expire August 31, 2017, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the Contract. Extension of the term shall not require an increase of Consultant's Fee under the Contract. OFFICIAL RECORD CITY SECRETARY FT. WORTH, TX J. Section3, Compensation. The anticipated cost of the additional work in Exhibit A-2 is as follows: Conduct Current Program Review $11,872 Conduct Current Program Evaluation $43,494 Revenue Recovery Potential Analysis $7,762 Develop Program Guidelines $27,856 TOTAL $90,984 Both agree that such additional work shall require an increase in the annual amount of the Contract to now be $250,000.00. 4. All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect. WORTH, TX EXHIBIT A-2 SCOPE OF WORK Provide consulting services to support the Industrial, Commercial and Institutional Evaporation Credit Program aimed at identifying opportunities for recovery of lost revenues. Consulting services provided include conducting current program review and evaluation, revenue recovery analysis and developing new program guidelines. Upon completion of work, deliverables include; program evaluation modeling tool, program evaluation report, revenue analysis report, end user reporting rules, program management guidelines, end user guidelines and conservation tracking guidelines.
