ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING A 10' WIDE BY 260' LONG SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT
AND 60' WIDE BY 319' LONG FLOODWAY EASEMENT LOCATED IN LOT
1, BLOCK 36, WOODHAVEN COUNTRY CLUB ESTATES, PHASE XII;
PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF' FEE IN SAID LANDS; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the following easements be and the same are vacated, aban-
doned, and permanently closed and extinguished as easements for san-
itary sewer and floodway purposes, respectively:
A. The northernmost ten foot (10') wide by two hundred sixty
foot (260') long sanitary sewer easement located in Lot 1,
Block 36, Woodhaven Country Club Estates, Phase XII, as
shown in the plat recorded in Volume 388-143, Page 32,
Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and as described in a
deed recorded in Volume 3227, Page 509, Deed Records,
Tarrant County, Texas.
B. The sixty foot (60') wide by three hundred nineteen foot
(319') long floodway easement traversing Lot 1, Block 36,
Woodhaven Country Club Estates, Phase XII, extending from
the east property line of said Lot 1, Block 36, west three
hundred nineteen feet (319') to the east line of a twenty
foot by sixty foot (20' X 60') drainage easement, as more
particularly shown in the plat recorded in Volume 388-143,

SECTION 2.
That the fee to the lands in the above described vacated utili-
ty easements is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent
owner as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so
ordained.

Michael t~ Myers, Trustee, owner of all abutting property, has requested that
the City vacate the following•
(a) Thee northernmost 10' wide by 260' long sanitary sewer (utility)
easement in Lot 1, Block 36, Woodhaven Country Club Estates, Phase
XIS, according to the plat of said Lot 1, recorded in Volume 388-143,
Page 32, P R.T.C.T. and further described in a deed recorded in Volume
3227, Page 509, D R T C.T., and
(b) The 60' wide by 319' long floodway easement traversing Lot 1, Block 36,
Woodhaven Country Club Estates, Phase XII, as recorded in Volume 388-143,
P.R T C.T from the east property line of said Lot 1, Block 36, west
319' to the east line of a 20' x 60' drainage easement The subject
easements are as shown on the attached map
The subject sanitary sewer and floodway easements, acquired by dedication, are
platted and contain no utility facilities The utility facilities, for which
the subject easements were acquired, have been relocated Thus, the subject
vacation request has been made in order to replat the vacated easements with
abutting property to expand the building area and provide more usable yard
space
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no
objections to this request, provided the subject easements are replatted
with abutting property. A satisfactory replat has been submitted
Recommendation
It is recommended that an Ordinance be adopted vacating the northernmost
10' wide by 260' long sanitary sewer easement and the 60' wide by 319' long
floodway easement in Lot 1, Block 36, Woodhaven Country Club Estates,Phase
XII
