ORDINANCE NO. ~ ~ ~1
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING THE TEN-FOOT (10') WIDE UTILITY EASEMENTS LOCATED
IN LOTS 39, 43, 47 AND 51 OF BLOCK 3R, CHAPEL CREEK
ADDITION, AND LOTS 4 AND 8 OF BLOCK 4R, CHAPEL CREEK
ADDITION; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; RE-
PEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT the following be and the same are vacated, abandoned and
permanently closed and extinguished as utility easements:
A. The ten-foot (10') wide utility easements located. in
Lots 39, 43, 47 and 51, Block 3R, Chapel Creek
Addition, as recorded in Volume 388-153, Page 75,
Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, said easements
being more particularly described in Exhibit "A,"
attached hereto and incorporated herein for all pur-
poses;
B. The ten-foot (10') wide utility easements located in
Lots 4 and 8, Block 4R, Chapel Creek Addition, as
recorded in Volume 388-153, Page 75, Plat Records,
Tarrant County, Texas, said easements being more par-
ticularly described in Exhibit "A," attached hereto
and incorporated herein for all purposes.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility
easements is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner
as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or-
dained.

Texas Land_~Investments, owner of all abutting property, has requested that
the City vacate the following
(a) Thy 10' wide utility easements in Lots 39, 43, 47 and 51,
Block 3R, Chapel Creek Addition, as recorded in Volume
3.88-153, Page 75, P R.T C.T and
(b) The 10` wide utility easements in Lots 4 and 8, Block 4R,
Chapel Creek Addition, as recorded in Volume 388-153, Page
75, P.R.T C.T , and as said easements are shown on the
attached map
The subject easements, acquired by dedication, are platted but contain no
utility facilities The subject vacation request is made in order to
remove the encumbrance said easements place on the property, thus expanding
the building area
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no
objections to,this request
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the 10' wide utility
easements in Lots 39, 43, 47 and 51, Block 3R; and Lots 4 and 8, Block 4R,
Chapel Creek Addition.
