AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE ALLEY IN BLOCK
K-2 OF DAGGETT'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, BETWEEN CALHOUN
AND JONES STREETS$ FROM 17TH STREET SOUTH 200 FEET,
BE ABANDONED, VACATED AND CLOSED; AND PROVIDING
FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE TO SAID LAND,
WHEREAS, it appearing to the City Council of the City of Fort Worth
that the alley between lots 1 through 8 and lots 12 and 13 in K-2 Daggett, Fort
Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, between Calhoun and Jones Streets, has not
been used by the public for many years and that it is to the best interest of
the public that said alley be closed, abandoned and vacated as a public thorough-
fare and the fee to the land in said alkey revert as provided by law; NOW.,
THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH$ TEXAS:
SECTION L
That the alley in Block K-2, Daggett's Addition to the City of Fort Worth,
Tarrant County, Texas, between Calhoun and Jones, from 17th Street South
200 feet, be and the same is hereby vacated, closed and permanently abandoned
as an alley or public thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in said alley above described is hereby released
and will revert to the owner as provided by law, save and except that easements
are reserved for any existing utility lines.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its passage.
