ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING THE THIRTY FOOT (30') WIDE NORTH/SOUTH UTILITY
EASEMENT LOCATED IN BLOCK 6, NEWELL & NEWELL BUSINESS
PARK, FROM THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF PEBBLE DRIVE TO
THE NORTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF FLAGSTONE DRIVE; PROVIDING
FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANC-
ES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the thirty foot (30') wide north/south utility easement
located in Block 6, Newell & Newell Business Park, .from the south
right-of-way line of Pebble Drive to the north right-of-way line of
Flagstone Drive, and more particularly described as follows:
Being a 30 foot wide utility easement in Block 6, Newell
and Newell Business Park as shown on plat recorded in Vol-
ume 388-136, Page 61 of the Deed Records of Tarrant
County, Texas, the centerline of said utility easement be-
ing more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the point in the south line of Pebble Drive,
a private street, emergency access and utility easement,
said. point being S 88° 48' E, 447.7 ft. and 5 1° 12' W,
40.0 ft. from the northwest corner of said Block 6;
THENCE S 1° 12' W, 48g ft. to the north line of Flagstone
Drive, a private street, emergency access, and utility
easement, and containing 14,670 square feet of land.

extinguished as a utility easement.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility
easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner
as provided by law.

SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so
ordained.

Newell & Newe'11 Business Park, owner of all abutting property, has requested
that the City vacate the 30' wide, north/south utility easement in Block 6,
Newell & Newell Business Park, from the south right-of-way line of Pebble
Drive;-s~outh-to the north right-of-way line of Flagstone Drive, as shown
on the attached map.
-The subjec.t__utility easement, acquired by dedication, is platted but
•-contains-no--utility facilities. The subject vacation request is made
in order to remove the encumbrance placed on the property by said easement,
thus expanding the building area
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no
objections to this request.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the 30' wide north/
south utility easement in Block 6, Newell & Newell Business Park
