AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING A TRIANGULAR UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED IN THE
SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 23, BLOCK 9, OVERTON WOODS
ADDITION; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVID-
ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT the triangular utility easement located in the southeast
corner of Lot 23, Block 9, Overton Woods Addition, and being more
particularly described by metes and bounds in Exhibit "A", attached
hereto and incorporated herein, be and the same is vacated, aban-
doned and permanently closed and extinguished as a utility easement.
SECTION 2,.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility
easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner
as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or-
dained.

THENCE along the southerly line of said Lot 23, South 58° - 21' -
58" West a distance of 20.60 feet to a point in said southerly line,
THENCE North 03° - 21' - 40" East a distance of 27,66 feet to a
point in the easterly line of said Lot 23,
THENCE along said easterly line North 42° - 21' West a distance of
25.0 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 247.50 square
feet of land, more or less.

The subject utility easement , acquired by dedication, is platted but con-
tains no utility facilities. The subject vacation request is made in order
to expand the building area and provide more usable yard space.
I~~EFviewing City departments a nd private utility companies have raised no
objections .to this request.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an Or dinance be adopted vacating the triangular
utility easement within Lot 23, Block 9, Overton Woods Addition.
