KNOW ALL BY THESE PRESENTS
COUNTY OF TARRANT
THAT this Amendment of Lease Agreement is made and entered into between Weingarten
Realty Investors ("Lessor") and the City of Fort Worth, a municipal corporation, acting by and
through its duly authorized representative ("Lessee").
WITNESSETH
1. Lessor and Lessee hereby confirm and ratify, except as modified below, all of the terms,
conditions and covenants in that certain Lease Agreement dated December 28, 1995 and
letter agreements extending the term until September 30, 2000 for offices located at 5043
Old Granbury Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76133.
2. Lessor and Lessee agree that effective October 1, 2000 that the term shall be extended
until September 30, 2001.
3. All other terms and conditions of the original Lease Agreement and renewal letters
remain unchanged and in full force and effect.

SUBJECT LEASE AGREEMENT FOR 5043 GRANBURY ROAD - NEIGHBORHOOD POLICING
DISTRICT 10 HEADQUARTERS
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute the attached lease
agreement for 5043 Granbury Road, Southcliff Shopping Center, which will be. used as the
headquarters for Neighborhood Policing District 10.

The Crime Control District approved in March .1995 contained funding for additional,,sites for
Neighborhood Patrol Districts. The attached lease is..for, 2,500 square .feetfof£`officespace '
located at 5043 Granbury Road in the Southcliff Shopping Center.-. his,space,will:be leased.tola° .T
the department at a cost of $2,000 per month,or $24,000 annually.n7he term of the lease,shall.r
be for a period of one:year; ending September.'1996,"with the option*:to renew .for4PPAo five'�
years depending on continued funding:for each'succeeding year:� ,r
Funds were also included for the payment of utilities from the Crime Control:District budget`:as ;
well as modifications to the office space to accommodate the needs of the personnel assigned
to this district.
Neighborhood Policing District 10.is in Council Districts 3, 6 and
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION: _ `k
The Director of Fiscal Services certifies that funds required for this agreement are available in the
current operating budget, as appropriated, of the Crime Control District Fund.
