Jy` ~ ~i/ ORDINANCE NO. ~ 7~/ AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING AND EXTIN- GUISHING THE TEN FOOT WIDE NORTH/SOUTH UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED IN LOT 1BR, BLOCK 7, NEWELL & NEWELL BUSINESS PARK; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEAL- ING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the ten foot (10') wide north/south utility easement lo- cated in Lot 1BR, Block 7, Newell & Newell Business Park, as shown on the plat of said addition recorded in Volume 388-152, Page 15, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and more particularly described as follows: Being a 10 foot wide utility easement crossing Lot 1BR, Block 7, Newell and Newell Business Park as shown on plat recorded in Volume 388-152, Page 15 of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas, the centerline of said utility easement being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the point of intersection of said centerline with the common line between Lot 1AR, Block 7, and said Lot 1BR, Block 7, said point being N 88° 48' W, 241.8 ft. from the most easterly northeast corner of said Lot 1BR, Block 7; THENCE S 1 ° 1 2' W, 280 ft. to the south line of said Lot 1BR, Block 7, and containing 2800 square feet of land; be and the same is vacated, abandoned, and permanently closed and extinguished as a utility easement, provided, however, that the south 235 feet of the above described easement, having been reserved for the use of Lone Star Gas Company, as shown on said plat, shall continue as an easement for Lone Star Gas Company use unless and until released by the company. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law. However, this ordinance shall not be construed as affecting or extinguishing any easement held by Lone Star Gas Company in the above-described property. .~~ ;;,,., . ~ A n .~ :"-. :~ ~~° - SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained.
