HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 8859r ~~- ,~ _ .. > .y f :yam ~ Cam" of ORDINANCE NO.~~ AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING THE 500 BLOCK OF CRUMP STREET, A WIDTH OF SIXTY FEET, FROM EAST 4TH STREET SOUTHWARD TO THE NORTH PROPERTY LINE OF LOT 1, BLOCK 1, NBC WARE- HOUSE SITE ADDITION; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. ~. ' F.. i BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; THAT THE 500 block of Crump Street, a width of sixty feet, from East 4th Street southward to the north property line of Lot 1, Block 1, NBC Warehouse Site Addition, be and the same is vacated, abandoned, and permanently closed as a public street right-of-way. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated public street right-of-way is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owners as provided by law, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are retained for any and all existing and prospective utilities. SECTION 3. That .all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained.
