ORDINANCE NO.~~
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING
THE 500 BLOCK OF CRUMP STREET, A WIDTH OF SIXTY
FEET, FROM EAST 4TH STREET SOUTHWARD TO THE
NORTH PROPERTY LINE OF LOT 1, BLOCK 1, NBC WARE-
HOUSE SITE ADDITION; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF
FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS;
THAT THE 500 block of Crump Street, a width of sixty feet, from
East 4th Street southward to the north property line of Lot 1,
Block 1, NBC Warehouse Site Addition, be and the same is vacated,
abandoned, and permanently closed as a public street right-of-way.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated public
street right-of-way is hereby released and shall revert to the
adjacent owners as provided by law, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements
are retained for any and all existing and prospective utilities.
SECTION 3.
That .all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so
ordained.

Printing Center of Texas, Inc and Paul A Johnson, with the written consent of
all abutting property owners, have requested that the City vacate the 500 block
of Crump Street, a width of 60', from East 4th Street southward to the north
property line of Lot 1, Block 1, NBC Warehouse Site Addition, as shown on the
attached map,
The subject street right-of-way, acquired by dedication, is open on the ground,
improved, and contains water, sewer, electric, gas and telephone utility
facilities The subject vacation request is made in order to replat the vacated
right-of-way with adjacent property, to expand the building area, and provide
more usable yard space
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no objections
to this request, provided the vacated right-of-way is replatted with adjacent
property as development occurs, and provided the vacated right-of-way is retained
as an utility easement for the existing utility facilities
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends that the
subject street right-of-way be vacated a.s requested
Recommendation
It is recommended that an Ordinance be adopted by the City Council vacating the
500 block of Crump Street as recommended by the City Plan Commission
