An ordinance closing and vacating that portion of Park Street ly-
ing east of the east boundary line of Hays Street and extending
from said east boundary line of Bays Street east to the east bound-
ary line of the right of way of the 'Texas & Pacific Ry. Co.
BE IT ORDAINED 3Y THE BOARD OF COIvMTISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS. J
SECTION ONE.
WHEREAS it appears that L. L. Hawes is the owner of all of the
lots abutting on Park Street in the City of Fort Worth from the
east boundary line of Hays Street do M2 to the west boundary line
of the right of way and property of the St . Louis Southwestern
. Ry. Co . of Texas ; and,
?REAS the tracks of the St. Louis Southwestern Ry. Co . of Texas
and of the Fort Worth & Denver City Ry. Co. and of the 'texas &
Pacific Ry. Co . cross said Park Street; all between the wes-t bound-
ary line of the right of way of the said St. Louis Southwestern
Ry. Co . of Texas and the east boundary line of the right of way
of the Texas & Pacific ley. Co . , and it further appearing that said
Park Street has never been extended over the tracks of the said
Fort Worth & Denver City Ry. Co. and of the Texas & Pacific Ry. Co. ,
and that said street running east from the east boundary line of
Hays Street has never been used or travelled by the public ;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is ordered that all that portion of said Park
Street extending from the east boundary line of Hays Street to the
east boundary line of the 'Texas & Pacifi+.%ly. Co . be and the same
is hereby forever closed and vacated as a public street in the City
of Fd rt Worth, Texas.
SECTION TWO.
This Ordinance is adopted with the express agreement and under-
standing that�Z. L. Hawes will hold and save the City of Fort
North, Texas, hereunder, from any and Ill damages accruing to
persons or property or occasioned by or as the proximate result
of the vacating and closing of the street as set out in Section
One of this Ordinance.
SECTION THREE.
This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Ordinance
wad duly presented, passed and adopted by the Board of Commissioners
of the City of Fort North, Texas, at a Regular session of said Board
held April 13th, A. D. 1920.

Comes now L. L. Hawes and fil6a this his petition to close and
vacate that portion of Park Street lying east of the east boundary
line of Hays Street and extending from said east boundary line of
Hays Street east to the east boundary line of the right of way of
the Texas & Pacific Railway Company, and in support of sme would
respectfully show to the court:

That your petitioner, L. L. Hawes, is the owner of all the lots
abutting on Park Street in the City of kart Worth, from the east
Iboundary line of Hsgs Street down to the west boundary Line. of the
right of way and property of the St. Louis Southwestern Railway
Company.

That the tracks of the St. Louis Southwestern Railway Company of
Texas and of the: Fart Worth & r�enver City Railway Company, and of
the Texas & Pacific Railway Company cross said Park Street, all
between the w=est boundary line of the right of way of said St
Louis Southwestern Railvey Company of Texas, and the east boundary
line of the right of way of the Texas & Pacific H#ilway Company.
III.
That Park Street has never been extended over the tracks of the
said .Port Worth S Denver City Railway Company and the Texans & Pacific
?railway Company, and the said street running east from the east-
boundary line of Hays Street has never been used or travelled by
the public.

` That by reason of the foregoing facts it is proper and Just that
that portion of Perk Street extending from the east bo-undary line
of Hags Street to the east boundary line of the Texas -& Pacific
Railway Company, be forever closed and vacated as a public street
in the City of Fort Worth, 'Texas, by proper Ordinance passed by
this Honorable Board of Commissioners of the City of Fort North.

line of the right of way of the Texas Pacific Railway Company.

That Park Street has never been extended over the tracks of the
said Fort Worth Denver City railway Company and the Texas & Pacific
Hailway Company, and the said street running east from the east
boundary line of Hays Street has never been used or travelled by
the public.

of Frays Street to the east boundary line of the Texas & Pacific
Railway Company, be forever closed and vacated as a public street
in the City of Port Worth, Texas, by proper Ordinance passed by
this honorable Board of Commissioners of the City of Fort Worth.
'THEREFORE, your petitioner, L. Z. Hawes, prays that upon considera-
tion of this petition, that the attached Ordinance closing and
vacating that portion of Park Street hereinbefore described, be
adopted.
