ORDINANCE NO. ~~
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING AND
EXTINGUISHING AN EASEMENT FOR PURPOSES OF PASSAGE OVER AND
ACROSS LOT 2, BLOCK 5, VAN ZANDT ADDITION TO CONSTRUCT AND
MAINTAIN A DAM AND APPURTENANCES; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION
OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
` BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT THE easement over, along, and across Lot 2, Block 5, Van
Zandt Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas,
said easement being for the purpose of passage over and across said
lot in order to construct and maintain a dam and appurtenances
thereto, said easement being more particularly described in a deed
recorded at Volume 144, Page 340, of the Deed Records of Tarrant
County, Texas, be and the same is hereby vacated, abandoned, and
permanently closed and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated ease-
ment is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as
provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so
ordained.

no utility facilities The subject easement was granted as an access easement

the year in which the aforesaid easement was conveyed to the City. The

Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no
objections to this request. The Real Property Department has determined that
the right, title, and interest of the City in the subject easement has no fair
market value

Block 5, Van Zandt Addition.
