~: ~. ~ P ORDINANCE NO. ~'7 7 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 8714, ADOPTED JANUARY 18, 1983, SAID ORDINANCE CONTAINING AN IN- CORRECT PROPERTY DESCRIPTION; VACATING, ABANDONING, CLOSING AND EXTINGUISHING A CERTAIN PORTION OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOOT (100') WIDE DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED IN LOT 2, BLOCK 1-R, WOODHAVEN COUNTRY CLUB ESTATES ADDITION; PROVIDING FOR REVER- SION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on January 18, 1983, Ordinance No. 8714 was adopted with the purpose of vacating, abandoning, closing and extinguishing a certain portion of a drainage and utility easement located in Block 1-R of the Woodhaven Country Club Estates Addition; and WHEREAS, said Ordinance No. 8714 contained an incorrect prop- erty description in that it incorrectly described the aforesaid easement as being located in Lot 1 of said block and addition when in fact it is located in Lot 2 of same; and - WHEREAS, in order to correct said error, it is now the desire of the City Council to repeal the aforesaid Ordinance No. 8714 and substitute therefor an ordinance with the correct property descrip- tion; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 8714, adopted on January 18, 1983, is hereby repealed and the remaining provisions of this ordinance shall sub- stitute therefor. SECTION 2. That a certain portion of the one hundred foot (100') wide drainage and utility easement located in Lot 2, Block )-R, Woodhaven Country Club Estates .Addition to the City of Fort Worth, said por- tion being more particularly described by metes and bounds in J ~ , . .~ Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein for all pur- poses, be and the same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished as a drainage and utility easement. SECTION 3. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated drain- age and utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law. SECTION 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or- dained. COMMENCING at the most southerly corner of said Block 1-R, said corner being the intersection of the northerly right-of-way line of Boca Raton Boulevard and the easterly right-of-way line of Woodhaven Boulevard; THENCE North 32 decrees 09 minutes 59 seconds West 125.89 feet along said easterly R.O.W. line of said Woodhaven Boulevard to the begin- ning of a curve to the right whose center point bears North 57 degrees 50 minutes 01 second East a distance of 1859.63 feet; THENCE continuing along said R.O.W. line and along said curve to the right in a northwesterly direction thru a central angle of 00 de- grees 01 minute 26 seconds a distance of 0.77 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of the tract herein described; THENCE continuing along said R.O.W. line and along said curve to the right in a northwesterly direction thru a central angle of 01 degree 55 minutes 03 seconds a distance of 62.23 feet to the end of said curve; THENCE North 09 degrees 11 minutes 43 seconds East 204.85 feet de- parting said R.O.W. line to a point in the westerly line of a 100.0 foot wide drainage easement; THENCE South 04 degrees 00 minutes 16 seconds East 207.20 feet along said westerly easement line to an angle point; THENCE South 17 degrees 04 minutes 53 seconds West 51.01 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 6,041 square feet of land.
