ORDINANCE NO. ~(
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING AND
EXTINGUISHING THE UTILITY (ANCHOR) EASEMENT LOCATED IN
LOT 1, BLOCK 6-R, SAN ROE ADDITION; PROVIDING FOR
REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT THE utility (anchor) easement located in Lot 1, Block 6-R,
San Roe Addition, said easement being more particularly described by
metes and bounds in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated
herein, be and the same is vacated, abandoned, and permanently
closed and extinguished as a utility (anchor) easement.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility
(anchor) easement is hereby released and shall revert to the
adjacent owner as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so
ordained.

to Division of Lucky Stores, owner of all abutting property, has requested that
t e City vacate the 10' x 18' utility (anchor) easement in Lot 1, Block 6-R, San
t~ierl~ddition, as recorded in volume 388-X, page 138, D R T C T and as shown on
the attached map.
The subject utility (anchor) easement, acquired by dedication, is platted but
contains no utility facilities The subject vacation request is made in order. to
consolidate the vacated easement property with adjacent property to expand the
building area and provide more usable yard space.
It is the opinion of the Real Property Department that the rights and interest
of the City in the utility (anchor) easement denoted in this request has no
monetary value, if vacated, Other reviewing City departments and private
utility companies have raised no objections to this request.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the 10' x 18' utility
(anchor) easement in Lot 1, Block 6-R, San Roe Addition.
