ORDINANCE NO.f ~ 7 7 S AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING AND EXTIN- GUISHING THE TEN-FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENTS LOCATED ALONG THE COMMON PROPERTY LINES OF LOTS 6 AND 7 AND LOTS 16 AND 17, BLOCK 1, CHAPEL CREEK ADDITION; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LANDS; REPEALING ALL ORDI- NANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THAT the following be and the same are vacated, abandoned, and permanently closed and extinguished as utility easements: A. The 10-foot wide utility easement located along the common property line between Lots 6 and 7, Block 1, Chapel Creek Addition, as shown on the plat recorded in Volume 388-134, Pages 81 and 82, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas. B. The 10-foot wide utility easement located along the common property line between Lots 16 and 17, Block 1, Chapel Creek Addition, as shown on the plat recorded in Volume 388-134, Pages 81 and 82, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas. SECTION 2. That the fee to the lands in the above described vacated util- ity easements is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or- dained. The subject vacation request is made in order to replat the vacated easement rights-of-way with abutting property, to increase the building area, and provide more usable yard space Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no objections to this request provided the vacated easement rights-of-way are replatted with abutting property A satisfactory replat has been submitted.
