AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING EIGHTEEN TEN-FOOT BY ONE HUNDRED FIVE FOOT (10' X
105') UTILITY EASEMENTS LOCATED IN BLOCKS 9, 11, 12 AND
14, MEADOWCREEK ADDITION, PHASE I, AS SHOWN ON PLAT RE-
CORDED IN VOLUME 388/131, PAGE 66, PLAT RECORDS, TARRANT
COUNTY, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID
LANDS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT those certain eighteen 10-foot by 105-foot easements
located in Blocks 9, 11, 12 and 14 of Meadowcreek Addition, Phase I,
said easements being more particularly described in the attached
Exhibit "A", which is incorporated herein, be and the same are,
vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished as util-
ity easements.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the lands in the above described vacated util-
ity easements is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent
owner as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or-
dained.

requested that the City vacate eighteen 10' x 105' utility easements in

131 Page 66, P R T C T and as shown on the attached map.

CITY SERYIC ss~he subject utility easements, acquired by dedication, are platted but contain
no utility facilities. The subject vacation request is made in order to
remove the encumbrance placed on the aforementioned blocks by the subject
easements, thus permitting cluster residential development under the R-1
Residential Zoning District.
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no
objections to this request
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the eighteen 10' x 105'
utility easements in Blocks 9, 11, 12, and 14, Meadow Creek Addition, Phase I
