Ave. south to East Arlington Avenue°
2; The northernmost portion of the 15° wide north/south alley in Block 22,
TRATIQN:11Graham Park Addition, from East Richmond Avenue south to the southwest/south-
ATIOPl.21 east corners of Lots 8 and 41, Block 22, Graham Park Addition, and
3) A portion of the 15' wide north/south alley in Block 23, Graham Park Addi-
tion, from East Arlington Avenue north to the northeast/northwest corners
of Lots 5 and 44 respectively, Block 23, Graham Park Addition. The subject
street and alleys are as shown on the attached map.
T.he subject street and alley rights-of-way, acquired by dedication, are not
open on the ground anal contain no utility facilities. The subject vacation
request is made in order to replat the vacated rights-of-way with abutting
property, to expand the building area, and provide more usable yard space.
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no objec-
tions to this request, provided the vacated rights-of-way are replatted with
adjacent property. A satisfactory replat has been submitted. The subject
vacation request was submitted and reviewed prior to the adoption of the City's
compensation policy, therefore, compensation for the vacated rights-of-way
will not be required.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends that the
subject street and alley rights-of-way be vacated as requested.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Council adopt an Ordinance vacating the 2000
and 2100 blocks of Logan Street, the northernmost portion of the 15' wide north/
south alley in Block 22, Graham Park Addition, and a portion of the 15' wide
north/south alley in Block 23, Graham Park Addition, as recommended by the
City Plan Commission. . t
