HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 8503 ORDINANCE NO. g~D~ AN ORDINANCE INCREASING B Y $10,000 THE ESTIMATED REVE- NUES ACCRUING TO THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1981-1982, B Y TRANSFERRING SUCH AMOUNT FROM THE .POLICE SPECIAL -GIFT FUND NO. 88, AND APPROPRIATING FROM THE INCREASED ESTIMATED REVENUES OF THE "GENERAL FUND THE SUM OF $10,000 TO ACCOUNT N0. 35-92-00 FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING SPECIAL TRAINING, EQUIPM ENT AND OTHER NEEDS OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING A SEVERABILIT Y CLAUSE; MAKING THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF PRIOR ORDINANCES AND REPEALING ALL PRIOR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED B Y THE CIT Y COUNCIL OF THE CIT Y OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; SECTION 1. That the estimated .revenues accruing to the -General Fund of the City of Fort Worth for the Fiscal Year 1981-1982 are hereby increased by transferring $10,000 from the Police Special Gift Fund No. 88 to the General Fund; and that in addition to providing the City Manager with such other revenue as may be secured from various sources included in Ordinance No. 8391 and in the Budget of the City Manager, there shall also be appro- priated from the increased revenues of the General Fund the sum of $10,000 to the Police Department Budget, Account No. 35-92-00 for use by the Police Department for special training, equipment and other high priority needs. SECTION 2. Should any portion, section or part of a section of this Ordinance be declared invalid, inoperative or void for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision, opinion or judgment shall in no way impair the remaining portions, sections or parts of sections of this Ordinance, which said remaining pro- visions shall be and remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be cumulative of Ordinance No. 8391, and all other ordinances and appropriations amending the . r~~. ~_ same except in those instances where the provisions of this ordinance are in direct conflict with such other ordinances and appropriations, in which instances said conflicting provisions are hereby expressly repealed. SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained.
