HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 8506 ORDINANCE NO. ~U AN ORDINANCE INCREASING B Y $10,000 THE ESTIMATED REVENUES ACCRUING TO THE 'GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1981-1982, AND APPROPRIATING FROM THE INCREASED ESTIMATED REVENUES OF THE GENERAL FUND THE SUM OF $10,000 TO ACCOUNT NO. 200-956-04 FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING THE MEALS-ON-WHEELS PROGRAM FOR A PORTION OF THE MONTH OF MARCH, 1982; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILIT Y CLAUSE; MAKING THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF PRIOR ORDINANCES AND REPEALING ALL PRIOR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1. That the estimated revenues accruing to the General Fund of the City of Fort Worth for the Fiscal Year 1981-1982 are hereby in- creased by $10,000; and that in addition to providing the City Manager with such other revenue as may be secured from various sources included in Ordinance No. 8391 and in the Budget of the City Manager, there shall also be appropriated from the increased reve- nues of the General Fund the sum of $10, 000 to the Meals-On-Wheels Program Budget, Account No. 200-956-04 to fund a portion of the month of March, 1982. SECTION 2. Should any portion, section or part of a section of this Ordinance be declared invalid, inoperative or void for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision, opinion or judg- ment shall in no way impair the remaining portions, sections or parts of sections of this Ordinance, which said remaining provisions shall be and remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall be cumulative of Ordinance No. 8391, and alt other ordinances and appropriations amending the same except in those instances where the provisions of this Ordinance are in direct conflict with such other ordinances and appropriations, in which instances said conflicting provisions are hereby expressly re- J pea]_ ed . `" 1 SECTION 4.
