AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL REVENUE OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN THE AMOUNT OF $23,800 FROM THE UNAPPRO- PRIATED RETAINED EARNINGS OF THE CITRAN BUS SYSTEM FUND TO PROVIDE FOR THE CITY'S SHARE OF UM TA CITRAN CAPITAL GRANT NO. TX-05-0071; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; MAK- ING THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF PRIOR ORDINANCES AND REPEALING ALL PRIOR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; SECTION 1. That the City Manager of the City of Fort Worth is hereby auth- orized to appropriate $23,800 from the Unappropriated Retained Earnings of the CITRAN Bus System Fund and transfer said $23,800 total to the City of Fort Worth Share of UM TA CITRAN Capital Grant No. TX-05-0071. SECTION 2. Should any portion, section or part of a section of this Ordinance be declared invalid, inoperative or void for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision, opinion or judg- ment shall in no way impair the remaining portions, sections or parts of sections of this Ordinance, which said remaining provisions shall be and remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be cumulative of Ordinance No. 8391 and all other ordinances and appropriations amending the same except in those instances where the provisions of this Ordinance are in direct conflict with such other ordinances and appropriations, in which instances said conflicting provisions are hereby expressly repealed. SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or- dained. The local funding was to be derived from the City's Public Transportation Bond Fund, Account No. 22-041901-00, in the amount of $46,648, and the CITRAN Vehicle Depreciation Account No. 311-000044 in the Capital Reserve Fund, in the amount of $23,800. Because of delays in receiving the grant award, this amount was closed at the end of the fiscal year into CITRAN's retained earnings. In order to provide for the matching contribution, a supplemen'tai appropriation from the CITRAN bus system fund retained earnings is required. Add~i•tionally, it is necessary to provide for a bond fund transfer from Account -No.°`22=041901-00 "unspecified" to a "specified" bond fund account to which the _sporisor's fees can be charged -~ Recommenda t ion 6It -is~_recommended that the City Council. 1.
