AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING THE 2800
BLOCK OF SOUTH MAIN STREET, BEING THAT PORTION LYING BE-
TWEEN LOWDEN STREET AND THE NORTH PROPERTY LINE OF LOT 6,
BLOCK 11, RYAN AND PRUITT ADDITION; VACATING, ABANDONING
AND CLOSING A PORTION OF THE EAST/WEST ALLEY IN BLOCK 11,
RYAN AND PRUITT ADDITION; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE
IN SAID LANDS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE-
WITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
A. THAT the 2800 block of South Main Street, being that por-
tion of said street of variable width and extending from the north
right-of-way line of Lowden Street north to the north property line
of Lot 6, Block 11, Ryan and Pruitt Addition to the City of Fort
Worth, and being more particularly described as follows:
Being a portion of South Main Street adjacent to Blocks 1
and 11, Ryan and Pruitt Addition to the City of Fort
Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, as recorded in Volume 204,
page 34, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and being
more particularly described by metes and bounds as fol-
lows:
BEGINNING at the southwest corner of Lot 5 of said
Block 11, also being the northwest corner of Lot 6 of said
Block 11, a "Y" cut in face of concrete building for cor-
ner, and being in the east line of said Street;
THENCE South with the east line of said Street and the
west line of said Block 11, a distance of 248.05 feet a
1/2" iron pin for the beginning of a curve to the Left;
THENCE in a southerly direction with the west line of said
Block 11 and the east line of said Street, and with the
curve to the Left having a radius of 3739.38 feet a dis-
tance of 106.04 feet a "Y" cut in concrete for corner,
said "Y" being in the north line of West Lowden Street;
THENCE West with the north line of West Lowden Street a
distance of 15.70 feet a 1/2" iron pin for corner, said
iron pin being in the east right-of-way line of the
Houston & Texas Central Railroad and the west line of said
M ain Street;
THENCE in a northerly direction with a curve to the Right
and the east right-of-way line of said Railroad and the
west line of said Main Street, said curve having a radius
of 3754.38 feet a distance of 102.09 feet a 1/2" iron pin
for corner;
THENCE North 14° - 32' - 40" West with the east right-of-
way line of said Railroad and the west line of said Main
Street, a distance of 181.09 feet a 1/2" iron pin for cor-
ner;

SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That. this ordinance shall take effect and b e in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or-
dained.
