ORDINANCE NO ~~ AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL REVENUE OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN THE AMOUNT OF $50,000 FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED FUND BALANCE OF THE WATER AND SEWER FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND WATER AND SEWER ACCOUNT NO. 60-90-10 FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING VINSON & ELKINS FOR WORK TO BE PERFORMED REGARDING THE AMENDMENT OF WATER PERMIT NO 2413 BEFORE THE TEXAS WATER COMMISSION; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; MAKING THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF' PRIOR ORDINANCES; REPEALING ALL PRIOR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; SECTION 1 That the City Manager of the City of Fort Worth is hereby authorized to appropriate $50,000 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Water and Sewer Fund and transfer it to the General Fund Water and Sewer Account No. 60-90-10 for the purpose of paying Vinson & Elkins the maximum sum of $50,000 for services to be rendered on behalf of the City of Fort Worth in the amend- ment of Water Permit No 2413 now pending before the Texas Water Commission. SECTION 2 Should any portion, section or part of a section of this Ordinance be declared invalid, inoperative or void for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision, opinion or judgment shall in no way impair the remaining portions, sections or parts of sections of this Ordinance, which said remaining pro- visions shall be and remain in full force and effect SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be cumulative of all other ordi- nances and appropriations for which provision has been heretofore made and they are hereby expressly repealed if in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance ..~ ~.. ; may, + ~'',.
