IN APPROPRIATE ORDINANCE RECORDS OF SAYD CITYa AND ]PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS9 the City of Fort Worths Texasa has heretofore entered into a contract
wrath AU'~.TIP1 'ROFi~,rOMPANY n for the mateing and construction of
certain street improvements on the hereinafter described portions of streetsD avenues and
public places in said C~tj-D tom~rit
Unit I Altamesa Boulevard From Old Granbury Road to east property line of
Lot 10, Block 510, Wedgwood X-II Addition, known
and designated as Project No 021-036-543-00,
Unit I a six-inch thick hot-mix asphaltic concrete
pavement on a four-inch thick hot-mix asphaltic
concrete base with seven-inch high concrete curb
and eighteen-inch wide concrete gutter so that the
finished roadway will consist of two thirty-six
foot traffic lanes Left-turn lanes and median
openings will be constructed where specified
Unit II Olcl Granbury Road (east lane) From south property line of Lot 3, Block 500, Wedg-
wood X-II Addition, to Danciger Drive known and
designated as Project No 021-036-543-00, Unit II
a seven-inch thick reinforced concrete pavement on
a six-inch thick lime stabilized subgrade with seven-
inch high superimposed concrete curb on a thirty-
six foot traffic lane
Unit III Ol.d Granbury Road (west lane) From Altamesa Boulevard to Danciger Drive, known
and designated as Project No 021-036-543-00 Unit
III a seven-inch thick reinforced concrete pave-
ment on a six-inch thick lime stabilized subgrade
with seven-inch high superimposed concrete curb on
a thirty-six foot traffic lane
Unit IV Danciger Drive From Old Granbury Road to north property line of Lot
30, Block 522 Wedgwood X-II Addition, known and de-
signated as Project No 021-036-543-00 Unit IV, a
seven-inch thick hot-mix asphaltic concrete pavement
on a five-inch thick base course and a two-inch
surface course with seven-inch high concrete curb
and eighteen-inch wide concrete gutter on a forty-
four foot roadway
Unit V Hastings Drive From Danciger Drive to west property line of Lot
30 Block 522 Wedgwood X-II Addition,,known and
designated as Project No 021-036=54'3-00, Umit V
a five-inch thick hot-mix asphaltic concrete:~.pave.-~'~
ment on a six-inch thick lame stabilized suligrade
with seven-inch high concrete curb and eighteen-
inch wide concrete gutter on a twenty-eight-foot
roadway
tivHEREAS, by sundry proceedings heretofare pa3sed by the City Council of the
City of Fort Worth, Texas, including Ordinance No ~~_, a portion of the cost of
said improvements was levied and assessed against the respective properties abutting
on each of the above described portions of streets, avenues and public places and against
the real and true owners thereof; and,
wHEN;r;AS, the City council of the pity of Fort ~Yorth, Texas, has, upon review,
found and determined that, in some instances, in order to effect substantial justice
and equality, it is desirable and necessary to grant and issue certain credits against
some one or more of the assessments levied by Ordinance No 1h~ , and
FdH~;k~AS, the street improvements hereinabove mentioned have been completed
upon each of the portions of streets, avenues and public places hereinabove described,
and have been inspected and found to be in comBlete accordance Frith the contract therefor;

The improvements on each of the portions of streets, avenues and public:
places hereinabove described bey and they are hereby, accepted; and the contract with
reference thereto be, and it is hereby, found and declared fully completed and performed
II
The Mayor, be, and he is hereby, directed to issue and execute in the name
of the City, certificates in evidence of the special assessments levied against abutting
property and the owner thereof for such improvements, and the City Secretary is directed
to attest same and impress thereon the corporate seal of the City, all in accordance Frith
the proceedings relating to such improvements and assessments The certificates shall be
numbered, shall describe the property against which the assessment has been levied, shall,
where known, state the name or names of the true owners of the respective parcels of pro-
perty assessed and shall be issued in an amount equal to the difference between the
principal amount of the assessment and the amounts of any credit issued thereon The
numbers of the certificates, with the property descriptions to be shown on the respective
certificates, together with the names of the owners of said property, the principal amount
of the assessment, the respective credits, if any which are hereby authorized, granted and
allowed against the principal amount of some one or more of the assessments heretofore
levied, and the principal amount for which each certificate is to be issued after diving
effect to such credit, if arty, are hereby enumerated and itemized as follows

When each of the certificates has been duly executed as hereinabove provided,
same shall be delivered to the Tax Assessor-Collector as part payment of the contract
price
IV
The City Secretary is hereby directed to engross and enroll this ordinance by
copying the caption of same in the Minute Book of the City Council of Fort Worths T~xass
and by filing the complete ordinance in the appropriate Ordinance Records of said City
V
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its passage

Deviation from Revised Price
Final measured quantities at contract unit prices yield an earned total price
of this contract which is $29 591 80 (-3 25y) under the revised price The
underrun is only the result of differences between quantities estimated for the
contract documents and quantities actually used to complete the work, but
because of the large size of contract, the small percentage under is a
significant dollar amount
Financing
Sufficient funds are available for the recommended final payment to be made
from the Project Account Nos 021-36543 and 029-36543
Compliance with Specifications
The project has been completed in accordance with the requirements of the
contract
Recommendation
It is recommended that project described above be accepted by the adoption of
an ordinance and final payment of $87 959 74 be made to Austin Road Company
