AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING AND
EXTINGUISHING A 10 FOOT WIDE SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT AND A
5 FOOT WIDE AERIAL UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED IN STONE'S
SUBDIVISION OF THE FIELDS-WELCH ADDITION PROVIDING FOR
REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LANDS REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS;
SECTION 1
THAT THE following utility easements be and the same are hereby
vacated, abandoned, and permanently closed and extinguished
A The 10 foot wide unrecorded sanitary sewer easement
located along and across Lots R-9 and 10, Block 16,
Stone's Subdivision of the Fields-Welch Addition, and
being more particularly described as follows
Being a 0 07 acre tract of land situated in the
William Welch Survey, Abstract Number 1644, City of Fort
Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, said 0 07 acre tract of land
being a portion of the East 1/2 (one-half) of Block 16,
Stone's Sub-division of the Field-Welch Addition, an
addition to the City of Fort Worth, as recorded in Volume
30, Page 620, Tarrant County Deed Records, said 0 07 acre
tract of land also being portions of those certain tracts
of land as described by deed to Central Bank and Trust, as
recorded in Volume 7095, Page 2241 and Volume 6928, Page
2214, Tarrant County Deed Records, and being more parti-
cularly described by metes and bounds as follows
COMMENCING at the intersection of the south right-of-
way line of West Rosedale Street (a 80 foot wide public
right-of-way), with the east right-of-way line of Alston
Avenue (a 60 foot wide public right-of-way)
THENCE East, along the south right-of-way line of
said West Rosedale Street, 74 00 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING of a 10 foot wide unrecorded Sanitary Sewer
Easement, the centerline of which is described as follows

R-9, Block 16, Stone's Subdivision of the Fields-Welch
Addition, and extending from the east right-of-way line of
Alston Avenue eastward to the west right-of-way line of
Lipscomb Street
SECT ION 2
That the fee to the lands in the above described vacated
utility easements is hereby released and shall revert to the
adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed
SECTION 4
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so
ordained

Central Bank & Trust Tnc owner of all abutting property through its
consulting engineer Carter & Burgess, Inc has requested that the City vacate
a) The 10' wide unrecorded sanitary sewer easement from Rosedale
Street south 340' across Lots R-9 and 10 Block 16 Stone's Sub of
Fields-Welch Addn and,
b) The 5' wide aerial easement along, parallel and 5' from the north
property line of Lot R-9 Block 16 Stone's Sub of Fields-Welch
Addition from Alston Avenue east to Lipscomb Street both as
shown on the attached map
The subject aerial (utility) easement was acquired by dedication and the
sanitary sewer easement was acquired through prescription The easements
contain no utility facilities
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no
objection to this request
Recommendation
It is recommended that an Ordinance by adopted vacating the 10' unrecorded
sanitary sewer and 5' aerial easements in Lots R-9 and 10 Block 16 Stone's
Sub of Fields-Welch Addition
