ORDINANCE NO. ORDINANCE ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF N.W. 29th EET AND PORTIONS OF SUNDRY OTHER STREETS, AVENUES AND PUBLIC PLACES IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; DECLARING THE CONTRACT WITH SRO As-)halt, Inc., .E1r7_iin tont x;25 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SAID IMPROVEMENTS FULLY COMPLETED AND PERFORMED; DIRECTING THE ISSUANCE, EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS LEVIED AFTER GIVING EFFECT TO SUNDRY CREDITS HEREIN AUTHORIZED AND ALLOWED AGAINST SOME OF SAID ASSESSMENTS; DIRECTING THE CITY SECRETARY TO ENGROSS AND ENROLL THIS ORDINANCE BY COPYING THE CAPTION OF SAME IN THE MINUTE :BOOK, OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, AND BY FILING THE COMPLETE ORDINANCE IN APPRO- PRIATE ORDINANCE RECORDS OF SAID CITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE, WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth, Texas, has heretofore entered into a contract with SRO Asoha;_t, Inc., Arlington,_ Texas for the making and construction of certain street improvements on the hereinafter described portions of streets, avenues and public places in said City, to-writ: 1. W. 29th STREET: From the north line of Rock Island to the south line of McCandless Avenue, known and designated as Unit 1, Project No. 104-24000-159. 2. 26th STREET: From the east line of Pearl Avenue to the west line of Market Avenue, known and designated as Unit 2, Project No. lo4-211000-159. 3. Refuzi o St're_.t: From the south line of Cliff Avenue to the south line of Lot 2, Block 115, Pruitt s siib-division, known and designated as Unit 3, Project No. 1011_24o00-159. J 4. TT. EIM STREET: From the north line of N. E. 29th to the south line of N. E. 30th Street, known and designated as Unit 11, Project No. 104-24000-159- 5- 011-211000-15}.5. PREMIER STREET: From the east line of Bonnie Brae to the east line of Alta View Street, known and designated as Unit 5, Project No. 101!--24000-159. 6. PREMIER STREET: From the east line of Alta View Street to the west line of Fairview Street, known and designated as Unit 6, Project _7o. 1011,-221000-159. 7. The making and construction of street improvements in this unit only as set out and des- cribed inOrdinance No. 5746, dated March 13, 1967, with hearing continued until April 17, 1967, when it was deter- mined by the City Council to abandon and delete from the contract this unit only and all prior proceedings in connec- tion with same are hereby cancelled as provided_ for in Sec. 10, Art. 1105"0, of the Revised Civil Statute of Texas as amended. 9.
