Unit- 6 was initiated -by- the-City and-Units 8-through 11 are paving skips. Sidewalks have been included-in Units 3 and 6 because of the proximity of schools. Property owners along Vinson Street petitioned for street improvements prior to the adoption of the current sidewalk policy. In view of the date of the petition, the City Council may wish to consider whether or not sidewalks should be installed along this street. *Proposed Deletions from Contract Units 7 and 12 are proposed for deletion from the contract because plans were prepared for the wrong portion of Fort Worth Avenue and no petition exists for the portion of Fort Worth Avenue shown as Unit 7. Unit 12, Rosser Avenue, was City initiated to tie in with Unit 7; therefore, both units should be deleted. With these deletions, the second low bidder becomes the low bidder.
