AN ORDINANCE VACATING ABANDONING AND CLOSING THAT
PORTION OF DEERING DRIVE IN THE 4500 BLOCK A WIDTH OF 25
FEET FROM ISBELL ROAD WESTWARD 491 36 FEET TO THE WEST
PROPERTY LINE OF TRACT 1-F' J WATSON SURVEY PROVIDING
FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LANDS REPEALING ALL ORDI-
NANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH
TEXAS
SECTION 1
THAT THE street right-of-way of Deering Drive in the 4500
block a width of 25 feet from Isbell Road westward 491 36 feet to
the west property line of Tract 1-F J Watson Survey and being
more particularly described as follows
BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of Lot 133 Brookside
Acres Addition to the City of Fort Worth Tarrant County
Texas as recorded in Volume 388-47 Page 42 Deed Records
Tarrant County Texas said Point being in the West line of
Isbell Road
THENCE West 491 36 feet to a point for corner
THENCE North 25 0 feet to the Southeast corner of a 25 0
foot strip dedicated far street as recorded in Volume 1216
Page 21, Deed Records Tarrant County Texas
THENCE East 491 36 feet to a point in the West line of
Isbell Road
THENCE South 25 0 feet along the West line of Isbell Road
to the Place of Beginning
be and the same is vacated abandoned and permanently closed as a
right-of-way for street purposes
SECTION 2
That the fee to the lands in the above described street right-
of-way is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owners as
provided by law SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are retained for any
and all existing utilities
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed

That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage and it is so
ordained

The Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends that the
subject street right-of-way be vacated as requested
Recommendation
It is recommended that an Ordinance be adopted vacating the 4500 block
of Deering Drive as recommended by the Plan Commission
