COUNTY OF TARRANT § WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth ("City") and Hahnfeld Associates, Architects and Planners, Inc. made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 40243 (The Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-24215, the 11 th day of May, 2010; and Amendment Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7,11, 12,13, 14 and 15 were administratively executed in the amount of $158,849.00 for additional topographic surveys, cost estimates, underground utilities survey, utility easement, new tenant lease space, new FBO revisions, new FBO tenant finishout design services, new FBO landscape design changes, and F.F.E design services for the new U.S. Customs & Border Patrol suite; and Amendment No. 5 was approved by M&C C-24980 on June 14, 2011 to complete the design and provide construction administration services in the additional amount of$985,732.50 plus up to $63,680.00 in reimbursable expenses; and Amendment No. 8 was approved by M&C C-26111 on February 19, 2013 to redesign the Project's approved site and revise completed drawings in the additional amount of $85,505.00 plus up to $2,365.00 in reimbursable expenses; and Amendment No.9 was approved by M&C C-26504 on October 15, 2013 for additional redesign fees to accommodate a new FBO within the terminal building in the additional amount of $317,917.00 without additional reimbursable expenses; and Amendment No. 10 was approved by M&C C-26712 on March 18, 2014 for additional redesign fees to accommodate a new FBO within the terminal building in the additional amount of $120,473.00 without additional reimbursable. The current amount of the Contract and Amendment Nos. 1 through 15 is $1,898,942.50 plus up to $79,245.00 in reimbursable expenses; WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to provide F.F.E. design services to accommodate the new U.S. Customs & Border Patrol tenant requirements; NOW THEREFORE, City and Hahnfeld Associates, Architects and Planners, Inc. d/b/a Hahnfeld Hoffer Stanford Architects Planner Interiors ("Architect"), collectively (the "Parties") acting by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement: 1. Article 1.1, SECTION I -SERVICES OF THE ARCHITECT, a paragraph is added to read as follows: "Provide additional design services to research and select the Furnishing, Fixtures & Equipment required for the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol tenant space. The Total Cost of these additional services is $22,344.00 including $1,100.00 in reimbursable expense fees. The scope of services are described more fully in the following Hahnfeld Hoffer Stanford's letter, Attachment "A" dated October 20, 2016 subject: Amendment Proposal for Additional Services- Furniture and Graphics for the New Customs Facility - Meacham Airport Terminal Building Renovation - Phase 2 including this letter's attachments noted as Exhibits "A" & "B". Attachment "A" is attached hereto, and made a part of this Agreement." 2. .Paragraph 1 of SECTION V- COMPENSATION TO ARCHITECT, is amended as follows.- "The ollows:"The total compensation for all of the assignments to be performed by Architect to complete the Projects as described in CHARACTER AND EXTENT of ARCHITECT'S SERVICES as addressed in City Secretary Contract No. 40243 and Amendment Nos. 1 through 16 and hereof shall be $1,920,186.50, hereinafter referred to as the 'total fee', plus up to $80,345.00 in reimbursable expenses." 3. These services were not included in our previous proposals for the design and documentation of the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol Facility. Our proposal includes the necessary research and selection, submittal for approval to the CBP, preparation of bidding documents, and supervision of the final installation of Furniture, We also include supervision and preparation of documents for the bidding and installation of the Customs and Border Patrol Interior Signage. Our proposed fee is a lump sum fee of $21,244.00, (Twenty One Thousand Two Hundred Forty Four Dollars, and No Cents), not including reimbursables. We also propose an additional amount of$1,100.00 for reimbursables necessary for completion of Bidding Documents. The total amount for this amendment would be$22,344.00.This proposal includes the assumption additional service would conclude in late Fall of 2016.
