ORDINANCE NO
AN ORDINANCE VACATING ABANDONING AND CLOSING
A PORTION OF THE 4900 BLOCK OF BLACKMORE AVENUE
FROM THE EAST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF BLACKMORE AVENUE
TO A POINT 20 FEET WEST. OF SAID RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE
A .PORTION OF HUMBERT AVENUE FROM LOT 27 BLOCK 107
AND LOT 14 BLOCK 108 CHAMBERLAIN ARLINGTON HEIGHTS
2ND FILING EAST 20 FEET TO TRACT 1-A HAYS COVINGTON
SURVEY AND A PORTION. OF EACH ALLEY IN BLOCKS 107
AND 108 FROM LOTS 14 AND 27 EAST 20 FEET TO TRACT
1-A HAYS COVINGTON SURVEY PROVIDING FOR REVERSION
OF FEE IN SAID LANDS REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE

THAT a portion of the 4900 block of Blackmore Avenue a
width of 60 feet more particularly described as follows
Being 0 002 acres of land situated in the heirs
of Hayes Covington Survey Abstract Number 256
Tarrant County Texas and being a portion of a
16 0 foot wide alley out of Block 108 Chamberlin
Arlington Heights Second Filing an addition to
the City of Fort Worth as recorded in Volume 63
Page 40 Tarrant County Plat Records and being more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows
COMMENCING at an iron rod set at the intersection of
the northerly right-of-way line of Vickery Boulevard
(a 70 0 foot wide public right-of-way) with the
easterly line of said heirs of Hayes Covington
Survey said iron being in the easterly line of said
addition and in the westerly line of the S C Inman

SECTION.2
That the fee to the lands in the above described vacated
rights-of-way is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent
owners as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed
SECTION 4
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect from and after the date of its passage and it is so
ordained

all as shown on the attached map
The subject street and alley rigs-of-way acquired by dedication are platted
not open on the ground improved but c®ntain no utility facilities
Reviewing City departments and private utility c~mp~n~~es have raised no
objections to this request provided the vacated. rights-of-way .are replatted
with adjacent property A satisfactory replat has been submitted
The Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends tht tha.--Isub~ ect
street and alley rights-of-way be vacated as requested
Recommendation
Tt is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacs.ting the street and alleys
in Chamberlin Arlington Heights Audition Blocks 90 107 and 108 and in Hays
Covington Survey Tract 1-A
