EXTINGUISHING THE 3200 BLOCK OF NORTHWEST 34TH
STREET FROM THE SOUTHEAST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF
MCCANDLESS STREET TO THE NORTHWEST RIGHT-OF-WAY
LINE OF ROCK ISLAND STREET, THE 10 FOOT WIDE
UTILITY EASEMENT IN BLOCK 247 ROSEN HEIGHTS
ADDITION FROM THE SOUTHEAST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE
OF MCCANDLESS STREET TO THE NORTHWEST RIGHT-
OF-WAY LINE OF ROCK ISLAND STREET THE 10 FOOT
WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT IN BLOCKS 2.48 AND 249
ROSEN HEIGHTS ADDITION FROM MCCANDLESS STREET
PARALLEL TO AND 5 FEET ON EITHER SIDE OF THE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH TEXAS
SECTION 1
That the below described block and easements be and the
same are hereby vacated abandoned permanently closed and extinguished
for street easement or other similar purposes
A The 3200 block of Northwest 34th Street from the
southeast right-of-way line of McCandless Street to the northwest
right-of-way line. of Rock Island Street
B The 10 foot wide utility easement in Bock 247 Rosen
Heights Addition from the southeast right-of-way line of McCandless
Street to the northwest right-of-way line of Rock Island Street
C The 10 foot wide utility easement in Blocks 248 and
249 Rosen Heights Addition from McCandless Street parallel~to.and
5 feet on either side of the north property line of Lot 12, Block
248 Rosen Heights Addition to the northeast property line of Blocks
248 and 249 Rosen Heights Addition
D The 5 foot wide utility easement in Block 248 Rosen
Heights Addition from the southeast corner of Lot 1 Block 248
Rosen Heights Addition northwesterly along the northeast property
line of Block 248 to a point S feet form the northeast corner of

SECTION 2
That the fee to the lands in the above described vacated
easements is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owners
as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed

That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect from and after the date of its passage and it is so
ordained

The subject street and utility easements acquired by dedication are not open
on the ground and contain nQ utility facilities The subject vacation request
is made in order to replat the. vacated rights-of-way and easements with abutting
property to expand the building area and provides Fnore usable yard space.
Reviewing City departments and. private utilityt~omNanies have raised no objection
to this request provided the vacated rights-®f-way and easements are replatted
with adjacent property A satisfactory replat has been submitted
The Plan Commission has reviewed phis request and recommends that the subject
