HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 8350~:.• ORDINANCE N0 AN ORDINANCE VACATING ABANDONING AND CLOSING THE 300 BLOCK OF COMMERCIAL STREET FROM THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF KANSAS STREET TO THE NORTH- WEST PROPERTY LINE OF THE TARRANT COUNTY WATER CONTROL AND IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO 1 PROPERTY THE 10 FOOT WIDE ALLEY IN BLOCK 17 ADJACENT TO LOTS 1-5 AND 16-21 EVANS-PEARSON-WESTWOOD AD- DITION FROM THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF KANSAS STREET TO THE NORTHWEST PROPERTY LINE OF TARRANT COUNTY WATER CONTROL AND IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO 1 AND THE 10 FOOT WIDE ALLEY IN BLOCK 20 ADJACENT TO LOTS 1 AND 11-13 EVANS-PEARSON-WESTWOOD ADDITION FROM THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF KANSAS STREET TO THE NORTHWEST PROPERTY LINE OF THE TARRANT COUNTY WATER CONTROL AND IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO 1 PRO- VIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LANDS REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH TEXAS SECTION 1 THAT the 300 block of Commercial Street from the south right-of'-way line of Kansas Street to the northwest property line of the Tarrant County Water Control and Improvement District No 1 property the 10 foot wide alley in Block 17 adjacent to Lots 1-5 and 16-21 Evans-Pearson-Westwood Addition from the south right-of-way line of Kansas Street to the northwest property line of Tarrant County Water Control and Improvement District No 1 and the 10 foot wide alley in Block 20 adjacent to Lots 1 and 11-13 Evans-Pearson- Westwood Addition from the south right-of-way line of Kansas Street to the northwest property line of the Tarrant County Water Control and Improvement District No 1 be and the same is vacated abandoned and permanently closed as rights-of-way for street and alley purposes SECTION 2 That the fee to the lands in the above described vacated street and alley rights-of-way is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law SECTION 3 That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed ..
