ORDINANCE NO ~ 3
AN ORDINANCE VACATING ABANDONING, AND CLOSING
THE STREET RESERVATION. ALONG THE SOUTH PROPERTY
LINE. OF LOTS 1-6 BLOCK 3 HOLLOW HILLS ADDITION
A WIDTH OF 45 FEET FROM THE WEST PROPERTY LINE
OF LOT 1 BLOCK 3 TO THE. EAST PROPERTY LINE OF
LOT 6 BLOCK 3 HOLLOW HILL5 ADDITION PROVIDING
FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH TEXAS
SECTION 1
THAT the street reservation extending 45 feet north of
the south property line of Lots 1-6 Block 3 Hollow Hills Addition
and extending from the west property line. of Lot 1 Block 3 to the
east property line of Lot 6 Block 3 Hollow Hi11s Addition be and
the same is vacated abandoned and permanently closed as a street
reservation
SECTION 2
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated
street reservation is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent
owners as provided by law SAVE AND EXCEPT that a 5 foot wide easement
is retained for utilities extending in length from the west property
line of Lot 1 Block 3 Hollow Hills Addition to the east property
line of Lot b Block 3 Hollow Hills Addition and extending 5 feet
north of the south property line of Lots 1-6 Block 3 Hollow Hills
Addition
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed
SECTION 4
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect from and after the date of its passage and it is so
ordained

Elizabeth L Campbell, with the consent of all abutting property owners, has
requested that the City vacate the street reservation along the south property
line of Lots 1-'6, Block 3, Hollow Hills Addition, a width of 45'
from the

west property line of Lot 1, Block 3, east 1.,213 4' to the east property line
of Lot 6, Block 3, save and except the southernmost 5' which are retained as a
utility easement
The subject street reservation, acquired by plat dedication for the extenWion cif
Meadowbr~ok Drive is platted, unimproved and contains no utility facilities
The subject vacation request is made in order to replat the vacated street
reservation with abutting property to expand the building area and provide move
usable yard space
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no objec-
tions. to this request, provided the vacated right-of-way is replanted with
adjacent property A satisfactory replat has been submitted
The Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends that the subject
street reservation be vacated
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the street reservat~.on
in Lots 1 thru 6, Block 3, Hollow Hills Aclditione
