INC. _ _ __ _ s for the meleing and construction of certain street improvements on the hereinafter described portions of streetsa avenues and public places in said Citj-a to~wit THOMAS PLACE From Pershing to E1 Campo known and designated as Project No 021-24293 a five-inch thick hot-mix asphaltic concrete pavement on a four-inch thick crushed stone base with seven- inch high concrete curb and eighteen-inch wide concrete gutter on a thirty-foot roadway Six-inch thick concrete driveways will be constructed where specified ~, L•~HEREA3, by sundry proceedings heretofore passed b3T the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, including Ordinance No 8299 , a portion of the cost of said improvements was levied and assessed against the respective properties abutting on each of the above described portions of streets, avenues and public places and against the real and true owners thereof; and, WHEI~EAd, the City Council of the pity of Fort ~'~orth, Texas, has, upon review, found and determined that, in some instances, in order to effect substantial justice and equality, it is desirable and necessary to grant and issue certain credits against some one or more of the assessments levied by Ordinance No .8299 , and WHEf~:Aa, the street improvements hereinabove mentioned have been completed upon each of the portions of streets, avenues and public places hereinabove described, and have been inspected and found to be in complete accordance with the contract therefor; NU1u', 'Pt~Ehk.F'OR~., BE IN ORDAII+iED I3Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXeLd, THAT I The improvements on each of t ho portions of streets, avenues and public places hereinabove described be, and they are hereby, accepted; and the contract with reference thereto be, and it is hereby, found and declared fully completed and performed II The Nfayor, be, and he is hereby, directed to issue and execute in the name of the pity, certificates in evidence of the special assessments levied against abutting property and the owner thereof for such improvements, and the City secretary is directed to attest same and impress thereon the corporate seat of the City, all in accordance with the proceedings relating to such improvements and assessments The certificates shall be numbered, shall describe the property against which the assessment has been levied, shall, where known, state the name or names of the true owners of the respective parcels of pro- perty assessed and shall be issued in an amount equal to the difference between the principal amount of the assessment and the amounts of any credit issued thereon The numbers of the certificates, with the property descriptions to be shown on the respective certificates, together with the names of the owners of said property, the principal amount of the assessment, the respective credits, if any which are hereby authorized, granted and allowed against the principal amoutlt of some one or more of the assessments heretofore levied, and the principal amount for which each certificate is to be issued after diving effect to such credit, if arty, are hereby enumerated and itemized as follows C I I.I When each of the certificates has been duly executed as hereinabove provided, same shall be delivered to the Tax Assessor-Collector as part payment of the contract price IV The City Secretary is hereby directed to engross and enroll this ordinance by copying the caption o~ same in the Minute Book of the City Council of Fort Worths T~xass and by filing the complete ordinance in the appropriate Ordinance Records of said City V This ordinance shall talcs effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage PASSED ANA APPROVED THIS ~ day of 1/~ ~ ~ 19~--~-- APPROVED AS TO FORM AND I,E(yALITY City Attorney PROJECT NO 021-~a2,93, THOMAS.PLACE FROM PERS~IING TO EL CAMPO to be improved by construct- ing a five-inch thick hot=mix asphaltic concrete pavement on a four-inch thick crushed stone base with seven-inch high concrete curb and eighteen-inch wide concrete gutter on a thirty- foot roadway Six-inch thick concrete driveways will be constructed where specified BLOCK OW.NCR LOT ZONING FRONTAGE RATE AMOUNT ASSESSMENT WE,ST,SIDE.
