ORDINANCE NO ~/
AN ORDINANCE VACATING ABANDONING CLOSING AND
EXTINGUISHING A FIVE FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT
IN BLOCK 4 LOT 2 LAKE COUNTRY ESTATES ADDITION
PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH TEXAS
SECTION 1
That the five foot wide utility easement in Block 4
Lot 2 Lake Country Estates Addition more particularly described
as follows
BEING a 5 foot strip of land located
in Lot 2 Block 4 LAKE COUNTRY ESTATES
an addition on the East side of Eagle
Mountain Lake in the Northwest part of
Tarrant County Texas as recorded in
Volume 388-67 Page 5 of the Plat
Records of Tarrant County Texas
Said 5 foot strip being more particularly
described by metes and bounds as follows
BEGINNING at a point in the North line of
said Lot 2 Said point being N 80° 16'
E 5 08 feet from the Northwest corner of
said Lot 2 Block 4 LAKE COUNTRY ESTATES
THENCE N 80°16' E 5 08 feet along said
North line to a point
THENCE S 19°43' E 108 28 feet along a line
10 feet East of and parallel to the West
line of said Lot 2 to a point on a curve
to the lef t
THENCE 5 0 feet along said curve to the left
having a radius of 1203 19 feet a central
angle of 00°14'21" and a long chord bearing
S 70°38'37" W 5 0 feet to a point
THENCE N 19°43' W 109 12 feet along a line
parallel to and 5 0 feet East of the West
line of said Lot 2 to the Place of Beginning
containing 544 square feet
be and the same is hereby vacated abandoned permanently closed
and extinguished as an easement for utility purposes
SECTION 2
That the fee to the land in the above described utility
easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent
owner as provided by law

That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed
SECTION 4
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage and it
is so ordained

Mr Edward Wuagneux owner of all abutting property has requested that
the City vacate a utility easement a width of 5' in Block 4 Lot 2
Lake Country Estates as shown on the attached map and described in the
attached metes and bounds description
The subject utility easement acquired by dedication is not in use and
contains no utility facilities
Reviewing City Departments and private utility companies have raised no
objections to this request

Recommendation
It is recommended that an Ordinance be adopted vacating the subject
utility easement as requested
