AN ORDINANCE VACATING ABANDONING AND CLOSING A
CERTAIN PORTION OF COLD SPRINGS ROAD IN THE 2700
BLOCK A WIDTH OF TWO FEET AND A LENGTH OF SIXTY-
SEVEN FEET ALONG THE WEST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF
COLD SPRINGS ROAD ADJACENT TO LOT 1 BLOCK 1
STAR SUBDIVISION PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE
IN SAID LAND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH
TEXAS
SECTION 1
That a certain portion of Cold Springs Road in the
2700 Block adjacent to Lot 1 Block 1 Star Subdivision
City of Fort 6Jorth Tarrant County Texas a width of two feet
and a length of sixty-seven (67) feet along the west right-of-
way line of Cold Springs Road more particularly .described as
follows
BEGINNING at a point in the easterly line of said
Lot 1 and the westerly line of said Cold Springs Road
said point being 305 8 feet North 9 degrees 08
minutes 50 seconds East from the southeast corner of
said Lot 1
THENCE North 9 degrees 08 minutes 50 seconds East with
said easterly line of Lot 1 and the westerly line of
said Cold Springs Road 67 0 feet
THENCE South 80 degrees 51 minutes 10 seconds East
2 0 feet
THENCE South 9 degrees 08 minutes 50 seconds West and
parallel with and 2 0 feet easterly from said easterly
line of Lot 1 and westerly line of Cold Springs Road
67 0 feet
THENCE North 80 degrees 51 minutes 10 seconds West
2 0 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING
be and the same is hereby vacated abandoned and permanently closed
as a right-of-way for street purposes
SECTION 2
That the fee to the land in the above described street
right-of-way reservation is hereby released and will revert to the
adjacent owners as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed

That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage and
it is so ordained

The subject street right-of--way,. .acquired by dedication is part of the parkway
unpaved and contains no public...utility facilities
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no objec-
tions to this request provided the vacated street right-of-way is replatted with
aubtting property A satisfactory replat has been submitted
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends that the
subject street right-of-way be vacated
Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Council .adopt an ordinance vacating the subject
street right-of-way
