AN ORDINANCE VACATING ABANDONING AND. CLOSING A
CERTAIN PORTION OF THE 4800 BLOCK OF CRESTLINE
ROAD A WIDTH OF 24 FEET EXTENDING WESTWARD FROM
THE WEST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF CRESTLINE ROAD
ABUTTING LOTS 25-27 BLOCK 5 CHAMBERLAIN HEIGHTS
ADDITION FIRST FILING AND A LENGTH OF 160 FEET
EXTENDING NORTHEASTWARD TO THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY
LINE OF THE EAST-WEST ALLEY IN BLOCK 5 CHAMBERLAIN
HEIGHTS ADDITION FIRST FILING PROVIDING FOR THE
REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH TEXAS
SECTION 1
That a certain portion of the 4800 block of Crestline Road
a width of 24 feet extending westward from the west right-of-way
line of the 4800 block of Crestline Road abutting Lots 25-27
Block 5 Chamberlain Heights Addition First Filing and a length
of 160 feet extending northeastward from the north right-of-way
line of Harley Avenue to the south right-of-way line of the east-
west alley in Block 5 Chamberlain Heights Addition First Filing
be and the same is vacated abandoned and permanently closed as a
right-of-way for street purposes
SECTION 2
That the fee to the land in the above described right-of-way
is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owners as provided
by law SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are retained for any and all
presently existing and prospective utilities
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed
SECTION 4
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage and it
is so ordained

Mr Frank Darden owner of Lots 25-32 Block 5 Chamberlin Heights 1st Filing
has requested that the City vacate a portion of: Crestline Road in the 4800
block, a width of 24° and extending 160' from the south right-of-way line
of the east-west alley in Block 5 Chamberlin Heights 1st Filing southwest-
ward to the north right-of-way line of Harley Avenue, as shown on the
attached map
The subject street right-of-way acquired by dedication is unpaved parkway
and contains no public utility facilities
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no
objections to this request provided the vacated right-of-way is replatted
with adjoining property A satisfactory rep'lat has been srxbmitted
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends that the
subject street right-of-way be vacated
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the 4ubject street
right-of-way
