HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 80474 `- ORDINANCE NO ~ ~ 7 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 AND SECTION 6 OF ORDI- NANCE NO 7323, AS AMENDED BY' ORDINANCES NOS 7392, 7441, 7869, AND 7963, BY REDEFINING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE SINGLE MEMBER DISTRICTS THEREIN CONTAINED MAKING THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PROVISIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCTL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 That Sections 2 and 6 of Ordinance No 7323, as amended by Ordinances Nos 7392, 7441, 7869, and 7963, be and the same are hereby amended, and, after being so amended, shall hereafter read and be as follows SECTION 2 "For the purpose of determining the qualifications as to can- didacy, election or appointment of a member to Place No 2 of the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, District No 2 shall be, and the same is hereby established, and shall comprise all of that portion of the City located within the following described bound- ary "District No 2 BEGINNING in Watauga-Smithfield Road (County Road No 4022) at the intersection of its centerline with the cen- terline of Beach Street (County Road No 2053) THENCE South with Beach Street to East 28th Street THENCE West with East 28th Street to a point 800 feet West from the West line of Beach Street;
