AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO OIL AND GAS LEASE
Reference is hereby made to that certain City Secretary Contract Number 40023, Oil and
Gas Lease (hereinafter referred to as "Lease") dated the 15t-' day of March, 2010 by and between
City of Fort Worth, as Lessor, and Quicksilver Resources, Inc., as Lessee, as amended by City
Secretary Contract Number 40023-A1 and extended by City Secretary Contract Number 40023-
R1, such Memo of Lease, City Secretary Contract Number 40022, is recorded in Document
Number D210067244 of the Public Records of Tarrant County, Texas covering the following
described lands located in Tarrant County, Texas, to wit:
1005.7321 acres of land,more or less as described in Exhibit A attached to said Lease.
Whereas it is the desire of said Lessor and Lessee to revise said Lease in order to amend
Exhibit B, Article III, Paragraph 3.03. Operations Site Size, for Operation Site 1 as identified in
Exhibit C (and referenced in Exhibit B, Article III, Paragraph 3.12) in the Lease regarding size of
an Operation Site.
NOW THEREFORE,the undersigned do hereby revise Exhibit B, Article III, Paragraph
3.03 as written in the Lease to increase the acreage of Operation. Site 1 as identified in Exhibit C
by 0.805 acres to 4.805 acres per the attached Plat dated July 15, 2014, and to reduce the size of
Operation Site 2 by the same amount, 0.805 acres, to now be 3.195 acres.
A Temporary Construction Easement of only 25 feet in width, on the Operation Site 1,
also shown on Exhibit A to this Amendment may be used by Quicksilver during actual drilling
operations with prior written approval of both the City's Gas Lease Program Manager and the
Water Department Director. Quicksilver shall make such request at least 90 days prior to
scheduling drilling operations and commencing use of the Temporary Construction Easement.
Upon completion of drilling operations such Temporary Construction Easement shall be
immediately returned to its former condition. Approval by the Lessor of the use of such
Temporary Construction Easement shall be subject to the Lessor's use of the property outside
Operation Site 1.
All other terms and conditions of the Oil and Gas Lease, City Secretary Contract No.
40023, as amended by City Secretary Contract Number 40023-A1 and as extended by City
Secretary Contract No. 40023-R1 and as recorded in the Lease Memo (City Secretary Contract
No. 40022) and in Document Number D210067244 of the PublRecuids o"arrant County,
Texas which are not amended herein, shall remain in full force and Q#04CJftJUbMJk term of

hereby amended, as a valid and subsisting Lease and the undersigned Lessor does hereby grant,

demise, lease and let unto Quicksilver Resources, Inc. the present owner of said Lease, the
premises described above, subject to and in accordance with all of the terms and provisions of
said Lease as hereby amended.
This agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties hereto, their
respective heirs, legal representatives, successors and assigns.
