THE 800 BLOCK OF SOUTH CALHOUN STREET FROM THE
NORTH RIGHT-OF-WAY DINE OF TERRELL AVENUE TO THE
SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY DINE. OF LEUDA AVENUE ~.~
WIDTH OF 50 FEET ANI) THE 10 FOOT WIDE ALLEY
ADJACENT TO LOTS 1-12 BLOCK. 39, WILLIAM BARR
SUBDIVISION OF BLOCK 39 TUCKER'S ADDITION
PROVIDING FOR THE- REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND.
REPREALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HER:EWIT.H AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COI7NCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH TEXAS
SECTION 1
That the 800 block of South Calhoun Street from the north
right-of-way line of Terrell Avenue to the south right-of-way line of
Leuda Avenue and the 10 foot wide alley adjacent to Lots 1-12 Block
39 William Barr Subdivision of Block 39 Tucker's Addition be and
the same are vacated abandoned and permanently closed as rights-
of-way for street and alley purposes
SECTION 2
That the fee to the lands in the above described vacated
rights-of-way for street and alley pur;
shall revert to the adjacent owners as
EXCEPT that easements are retained for
prospective utilities in the 800 block
the north right-of-way line of Terrell
way line of Leuda Avenue
SECTION 3

Greenway Enterprises Inc with ttae ^onsent of all abutting property owners has
requested that the City vacate the 800 block of South Calhoun Street a width
of 50' from Leuda Avenue south to Terrell Avenue and to vacate the 10' wide
alley adjacent to Lots 1 through l:?, Block 39 William Ba:~L~ Subdivision of
Block 39 Tucker's Addition from Leuda Avenue south to Terrell Avenue as shown
on the attached map
The subject street and alley rights-of-way were acquired by dedication The
street is open on the ground improved in use and contains utility facilities
The alley is not open on the ground and contains no utility facilities
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no objec-
tions to this request provided the vacated street and alley rights-of-way a're
replatted with adjacent property and the entire street right-of-way is retained
as a drainage and utility easement A satisfactory replat has been submitted
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends that the
subject street and alley be vacated
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the subject street and
alley rights-of-way
