ORDINANCE NO ~~ q
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL REVENUE
OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN THE AMOUNT OF
$130 197 FROM INCREASED REVENUES OF THE GENERAL
FUND TO ACCOUNT NO 90-60-00 PROVIDING FOR A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE T~IAKING THIS ORDINANCE

AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAIIQED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH
TEXAS
SECTION 1
That the City Manager of the City of Fort Worth shall be
provided with such revenue as may be secured from various sources
included in Ordinance No 7951 and in the budget of the City
Manager and in addition thereto there is hereby transferred from
the (Helicopter) Capital Reserve Fund to the General Fund
$103 000 and thereupon there is appropriated from the thus increased
revenues and from the fund balance of said General Fund the sum
of $130 197 00 to Account No 90-60-00 for the purchase of a new
helicopter

Should any portion section or part of a section of this
ordinance be declared invalid inoperative or void for any reason
by a court of competent jurisdiction such decision opinion or
judgment shall in no way impair the remaining portions sections or
parts of sections of this ordinance whic'n said remaining provisions
shall be and remain in full force and effect
SECTION 3
That this ordinance shall be cumulative of ordinance
No 7951 and all other ordinances and appropriations amending the
same except in those instances where the provisions of this
ordinance are in direct conflict with such ot'ner ordinances and
appropriations in which instances said conflicting provisions are
hereby expressly repealed
SECTION [F
That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full

Recommendation
I.t is recommended that
1.) That a supplemental appropriation ordinance be adopted appropriating
$103 000 from increased revenues (transfer from Capital Reserve Fund)
of the General Fund to Account 490-60-00 and appropriating $27 197
from the fund balance of the General Fund to Account 490-60-00 and
2) The helicopt:e'r be purchased from Bell Helicopter Textron on its bid
of $275 245 less trade-in a1l.owance of $126 500 $148 745 net f o b
Fort Worth. and
3) The helicopter communication equipment be purchased from Fieldtech
Avionics a.n.d Instruments on its low bid of $15 986 less 3%~(c~as1~D BY
