AN ORDINANCE VACATING PERMANENTLY ABANDONING
EXTINGUISHING AND CLOSING A 5 FOOT WIDE UTILITY
EASEMENT EXTENDING WESTWARD FROM THE EAST PROPERTY
LINE OF LOT 2-R BLOCK 1 OAK GROVE PARK 2ND
FILING FOR A DISTANCE OF 311 8 FEET PROVIDING FOR
THE REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDTNG AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH TEXAS
SECTION 1
That the five foot wide utility easement extending westward
from the east property line of Lot 2-R Block 1 Oak Grove Park
2nd Filing for a distance of 311 8 feet more particularly described
as :follows
SITUATED in the City of Fort Worth Tarrant
County Texas and being a portion of Lot
2-R Block 1 OAK GROVE PARK Second Filing
as shown on plat thereof recorded in Volume
38$/121 Page 28 of the Plat Records of
Tarrant County Texas and said portion being
that certain 5 foot wide utility easement
across said Lot 2-R more fully described as
follows
BEGINNING at a point in the east line of
said Lot 2-R said point being 510 0 feet
south 0 degrees 03 minutes East from the
northeast corner of said Lot 2-R
THENCE South 89 degrees 56 minutes 50
seconds West 311 8 feet
THENCE North 0 degrees 03 minutes West-and
parallel with the east and west lines of
said Lot 2-R 5 0 feet
THENCE North 89 degrees 56 minutes 50
seconds East 311 8 feet to a point in said
east line of Lot 2-R
THENCE South 0 degrees 03 minutes East with
said east line of Lot 2-R 5 0 feet to the
PLACE OF BEGINNING
be and the same is hereby vacated permanently abar~d.on.ed, extinguished
and closed as an e~.sement for utility purposes
SECTION 2
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated
utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the
owner of the lot on which said easement was formerly situated as
provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed
SECTION 4
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage and it is
so ordained

Pengo Industries Inc owner of all abutting property has requested that the
city vacate a 5' utility easement extending westward from the east property line
of Lot 2-R Block 1 Oak Grave Park, 2nd Filing, for .a distance of 31i 8' as
shown on the attached map and more fully described in the attached metes and
bounds description
The subject utility easement acquired by dedication is not in use and contains
no public utility facilities
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no objec-
tions to this request. and recommend that the subject utility easement be vacated
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the subject utility
easement
