ORDINANCE N0 ~~
AN ORDINANCE VACATING ABANDONING AND CLOSING
A PORTION OF THE 2800 BLOCK OF SHAMROCK AVENUE
A VARYING WIDTH FROM THE EAST PROPERTY LINE
OF AND ADJACENT TO THE SOUTH PROPERTY LINE OF
LOT 1-A-R WESTWARD TO THE WEST PROPERTY LINE
OF LOT 1-A-R BLOCK 12 BAILEY INDUSTP.IAL
ADDITION PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF FEE
IN SAID LAND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH TEXAS
SECTION 1
That a portion of the 2800 block of Shamrock Avenue a
varying width from the east property line of and adjacent to the
south property line of Lot 1-A-R, westward to the west property
line of Lot 1-A-R Block 12 Bailey Industrial Addition more
particularly described as follows
A portion of Shamrock Avenue situated south of Lot
1-A-R in Block 12 of Bailey Industrial Addition
as said lot appears upon the map recorded in
Volume 388-135 Page 40 of the Tarrant County
Deed .Records
Beginning at the southeast corner of said Lot 1-A-R
Thence south 5 feet for corner which is 13 7 feet
off face of curb
Thence north 87 degrees 1.2 minutes west 36 Ol feet
for corner which is 10 feet off face of curb
Thence north 81 degrees 41 minutes west 10 feet
from and parallel to the face of curb 62 22 feet
to the beginning of a curve to the left with a
radius of 792 04 feet
Thence westerly, along said curve to the left with a
radius. of 792' 04. feet along arc of said curve 10
feet from and parallel to the face of curb, 101 58
feet to its end the long chord of said 101 58 feet
arc is north 84 degrees 56 minutes west 101 51 feet
Thence north 13 92 feet to the southwest corner of
said Lot 1-A-R
Thence south 82 degrees 02 minutes east along the
south line of said Lot 1-A-R 7.5 73 feet
Thence south 81 degrees 41 minutes east continuing
along the said south line of Lot`s A-R 125 feet
to the place of beginning ~
be and the same is vacated abandoned and permanently closed as a
right-of-way for street purposes

SECTION 2
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated
street right-of-way is hereby .released and shall revert to the
adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed
SECTION 4
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage and it
is so ordained

The City Plan Commission has reviewed this reques~r and recommends that the sub,=
ject street right-of-way be vacated
