AMENDMENT.EXTENSION.RATIFICATION&REVIVOR OF OIL AND GAS LEASE
STATE OF TEXAS )
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OFTARRANT )
WHEREAS, a certain Oil and Gas Lease dated July 18,2011 was executed by and between City of
Fort Worth, a home rule municipal corporation of the State of Texas, as Lessor, and
Chesapeake Exploration, L.L.C., as Lessee; the Oil and Gas Lease and/or Memorandum of Oil
and Gas Lease being recorded in Instrument No. D211258998 of the official public records of
TARRANT County,Texas,("the Lease"),covering the following described lands:
SEE EXHIBIT"A"ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the parties hereto, that any and all lands covered under said lease
are subject to the terms of this agreement,whether or not specifically described herein;and
WHEREAS, the Lease may have expired pursuant to its terms and prior to any such expiration of
said Lease, the working interest thereunto was owned of record by Chesapeake Exploration,
LLC (a/k/a Chesapeake Exploration Limited Partnership) and Total E&P USA, Inc., and their
assigns,and it is now the desire of Lessor to adopt,ratify,revive,confirm and extend said Lease;and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the parties to re-instate that certain lease described in Oil and Gas
Lease filed of record on October 25, 2011, in instrument number D211258998, Deed Records,
Tarrant County, Texas,said lease being subsequently released in that certain Release of Oil and Gas
Lease filed of record on November 18, 2014, in instrument number D214251306, Deed Records,
Tarrant County,Texas.
NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration in hand paid to the undersigned by
Chesapeake Exploration, LLC (a/k/a Chesapeake Exploration Limited Partnership) and TOTAL
E&P USA., INC. the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged; the undersigned do
hereby amend the Lease to allow and provide for an extension of the Lease for an additional term,
ending on July 18, 2016 and for as long thereafter as oil or gas, or either of them, is produced from
said land or lands pooled therewith and as long thereafter as producing and the undersigned does
hereby specifically adopt, ratify,revive,confirm and extend said lease in all of its terms and provisions
and do hereby demise, lease and let said premises unto Chesapeake Exploration, LLC (a/k/a
Chesapeake Exploration Limited Partnership) and TOTAL E&P USA, Inc. its successors and
assigns, subject to and in accordance herewith, and do hereby declare and agree that the said
Lease in all of its provisions is binding,and that the same is a valid and subsisting Oil and Gas Lease.
FURTHER,the provisions hereof shall be binding upon the parties hereto,their respective heirs,
legatees, devisees,personal representatives,successors and assign/s.

Being 0.915 acres more or less and containing all that certain lot,tract,or parcel of land out of
the William Welch Survey,Abstract No.1668,also being a portion of a tract conveyed to Texas
Electric Service Company (TESCO) by the deed recorded in Volume 8046, Page 2269, Deed
Records,Tarrant County,Texas,more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a railroad spike at the northwest corner of said TESCO tract;
THENCE North 89 degrees 58 minutes 25 seconds East along the North line of said tract 580.5
feet to a railroad spike at the northeast corner of said tract;
THENCE South 06 degrees 02 minutes 50 seconds East along the easterly line of said TESCO
