HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 19170-06-2010ORDINANCE NO 19170-06-2010 AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING PORTIONS OF BOYCE AVENUE, TOWNSEND DRIVE, GORDON AVENUE AND ALL OF TWO 15 FOOT WIDE ALLEY RIGHT-OF WAYS, SITUATED IN THE M.J AROCHA SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO 1, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, ACCORDING TO THE PLATS OF SEMINARY HILL ADDITION, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUMES 310 AND 388-53, PAGES 45 AND 6 OF PLAT RECORDS OF TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, THE RETAINMENT OF EXISTING UTILITY EASEMENTS, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 THAT the following portions of the alleys and streets described below 1 All of a 15 foot wide alley nght-of way situated within Block 17 of Seminary Hill Addition, Seminary Campus, an addition to the City of Fort Worth, as recorded in Volume 310, Page 45 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County Texas, containing 9 000 square feet or 0.21 acres of land more or less, 2 All of a 15 foot wide alley nght-of way situated within Block 8 of Seminary Hill Addition, Seminary Campus, an addition to the Crty of Fort Worth, as recorded m Volume 310 Page 45 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County Texas, containing 4 678 square feet or 0 11 acres of land more or less, 3 Portions of Boyce Avenue, a 80 foot public right-of way Townsend Avenue, a 60 foot nght-of way and Gordon Avenue, a 60 foot nght-of way situated m the M.J Arocha Survey Abstract No 1 Tarrant County Texas, according to the plat of Seminary Hill Addition, an addition to the City of Fort Worth as recorded in Volume 310 Page 45 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County Texas, and of Lot A, Block 9 and Lot A, Block 10 according to the plat revision of said Seminary Hill as recorded m Volume 388-53 Page 6 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County Texas and containing 119,800 square feet or 2 75 acres of land more or less and as more specifically described in Exhibits A through `F" attached hereto and incorporated herein, by reference be and the same are vacated and extinguished. SECTION 2. That the fee to the lands in the above-described vacated alleys and streets are hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided bylaw SECTION 3 That all existing utility easements shall be retained by the Crty until such time all utilities located m the easements are relocated at the owner's expense. SECTION 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption.
