AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE ALLEY IN BLOCS 30, TUCKER'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TE US9 WHICH LIES BETWEEN MAIN STREET AND BRYAN AVENUE AND EXTENDS FRCM CANNON AVENUE TO LE©DA STREET, BE ABANDONED, VACATED AND CLOSED; RESERVING AN EASAMWT FOR PUBLIC UTILITIES IN AND ALONG THE LAND CONTAINED IN SAID ALLEY; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE TO SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLIOr HEREWITii; AND PROVIDING THAT TRIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDI- ATELTe it appearing to the City Council of the City of Fort Worth that the alley in Block 309 Tucker's Addition, which lies between Main Street and Bryan Avenue and extends from Cannon Avenue to Leuda Street, although a duly dedicated and accepted alley for use by the public, has in fact never been used by the public and that it is to the best interest of the public that said allay be closed, abandoned and vacated as a public thoroughfare and the fee to the land in said alley revert as provided by law, NOW, THERE- FORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT INOFSH, TZ[AS: SECTION I. That the alley in Block 30, Tuckers Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, which lies between Main Street and Bryan Ave- nue and extends from Cannon Avenue to Leuda Street, be and the same is here- be vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as an alley or public thorough- fare of any kind or character whatever. SECTION Ile That the rights of all public utilities for the purpose of oon- structing and maintaining service lines shall not be disturbed, destroyed, revoked or abrogated by any of the provisions of this ordinance, but said rights as above set out shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION III, That the fee to the land in said alley is hereby released and will revert to the owners as provided by law.
