A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD
DURING THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING BEGINNING AT 7.00 P.M.
ON TUESDAY, MAY 5, 2009, IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF
THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, 1000 THROCKMORTON STREET,
FORT WORTH, TEXAS, TO CONSIDER AMENDMENTS TO THE
IMPACT FEES FOR WATER AND WASTEWATER FACILITIES
WHEREAS in accordance with Chapter 395 of the Texas Local Government Code, a public
heanng is required to consider amendments to Land Use Assumptions, Capital Improvements Plans and
associated impact fees for water and wastewater facilities,
WHEREAS the City Council approved the amended Land Use Assumptions and Capital
Improvements Plan on March 24 2009 as required by Section 395 056 of the Texas Local Government
Code by M&C G-16506 and
WHEREAS, with the adoption the amended Land Use Assumptions and Capital Improvements
Plan modifications to the impact fees for water and wastewater facilities are hereby deemed necessary
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS
That a public heanng shall be held at 7 00 P.M. on Tuesday May 5 2009 to the City Council
Chambers of the City of Fort Worth, 1000 Throckmorton, Fort Worth, Texas, for the purpose of
considering amendments to the Impact Fees for water and wastewater facilities pursuant to which an
impact fee maybe imposed. Impact fees for each category of facilities maybe used to generate revenue
for funding or recouping the costs of water factlrttes and wastewater factlrttes, respectively or the
expansion of such necessitated by and which are attributable to new development.
Any member of the public may appear at the public hearing and present evidence for or against the
approval of the Impact Fees.
