APPOINTING MEMBERS OF THE MAYOR'S AVIATION MUSEUM TASK FORCE
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth has a proud and celebrated aviation lustory• and
WHEREAS, the citizens of Fort Worth have expressed a strong desire to commemorate the city's
pioneering aviation heritage m the form of an aviation museum, and
WHEREAS the members of the Crty Council, on behalf of current and future generations, have
expressed their commitment, intent and desire to consider the prospect of establishing such an aviation
museum wrtlun the Crty of Fort Worth, and
WHEREAS, the Fort Worth Crty Council has determined that the establishment of the Mayor's
Aviation Museum Task Force would be m the best interest of the Crty its citizens and the countless
individuals who were fundamental m staking Fort Worth s rightful claim as a Leader m aviation industry
and innovation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS, THAT
1 The Mayor's Aviation Museum Task Force is hereby established, consisting of
twelve members, serving at the pleasure of the City Council, as follows.
a. Van Romans, Moderator
b Jeff Johns, Vice Moderator
c Brenda Tillman
d. Ed Cvetko
e. Norman Robbins
f. Bell Helicopter Representative - TBD
g. David DuBois

2. The Mayor's Aviation Museum Task Force is charged with considering and malcmg
recommendations to the City Council on the following aviation museum strategies and
issues
a. Formulate the core values of a Fort Worth Aviation Museum.
b Develop a draft strategic plan
3 Upon final recommendations to the Fort Worth City Council, the Mayor's Aviation
Museum Task Force will automatically dissolve.
4 The Mayor shall appoint the Moderator and Vice Moderator of the Mayor's Aviation
Museum Task Force
